Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 28: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I beat the game in about 70 hours because I was being somewhat completionist about filling out her skills web and getting as many of the cool cloaks and accessories as possible. The entire skills and inventory system was very innovative and fun to fill out. But the main thing is this game had hands down the best magic system experience I have ever had in a game. Really just absolutely beautiful and inspired. Battles were always just gorgeous to be a part of. My only criticism was that I wish the dungeons (which are peripheral to the game and not necessary to beating it) were less repetitive and I wish Cuff didn't have a British accent. Otherwise, this is an A+ game and I'll probably replay it at some point.
very good game they need a part 2
The magic and traversal are alright, the story is terrible though.
Didn't get pass the intro it took to long. Got this with the graphics card I purchase.
If you had asked me if I would recommend this game before hitting chapter 12 I would have said this was a great game that was the victim of bad marketing. But AT chapter 12, where they expect you to face a gauntlet of enemies AND the final boss without the ability to scan enemies, the ability to use Finishers on staggered foes, the ability to survive instakill attacks that are difficult, if not impossible to avoid, all while throwing enemies at you that can regen health faster than you can damage them if you don't literally allow them to hit you, I think I can safely say to skip this one.
Can't recommend it as an overall package, especially for the original price, but if you can squint past the negatives and want to have some fun, buy it on sale. At most I'd pay ~$20 US. - Was not impressed by the story. World graphics were poor but spell graphics were great. Performance was okay. Open world content was Ubisoft-like but the rewards were fine. + Probably the best action magic combat I've ever experienced to date. Starts slow but as your kit grows you're jumping around, dodging enemy attacks, shifting through elements and slinging every effective spell in your arsenal with only an individual spell's cooldown holding you back.
If you… - are a fan of heroes in stories like Star Wars, where a “nobody” (i.e. Luke Skywalker, Rey) turns out to be related to and have inherited the power of someone well-known/ powerful - like zero-to-hero power fantasies and have at any point imagined yourself in one - adore jerks with a hold of gold - at any point in your life have watched anything influenced by or been a fan of “Whedonism” (e.g. the MCU and Buffy the Vampire Slayer) ...then you don’t really have a leg to stand on in terms of criticizing Forspoken, and I’m going to assume that you either haven’t played it and took some “anti-woke/anti-DEI” streamer’s review as gospel, watched a few scenes out of context, or just hate women—specifically, black women—that don’t put up with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. (Disclaimer: It is ABSOLUTELY fine to dislike a game! Not every game is for everyone! However, I’ve found a lot of the criticism surrounding Forspoken to be disingenuous and misleading.) WITH THAT OUT OF THE WAY… Having played through the entirety of Forspoken’s main storyline + a few side quests...I can confidently say that Forspoken is an enchanting romp set in a fantastic world brimming with potential, rich with delicious lore, and ripe with dynamite designs (Pitiless Arbiter, anyone?). The gameplay is smooth, responsive, and genuinely such a blast; combat is CRAZY fun, though if you’re not feeling like fighting, well, you can quickly (and magically) sprint and parkour yourself away! Story-wise Forspoken is nothing exactly groundbreaking, but I found it enjoyable nonetheless—it’s your standard tale of a main character awakening powers they didn’t know they had and growing into the role of the people’s hero. Visually, Forspoken is beyond stunning, and, combined with the heart-rending music and passionate voice acting, I found myself fully immersed in Athia and Frey’s struggles. I adored the dynamic between Frey and each character, however minor. My favorite interactions were between our heroine and her frenemy Cuff, though, to be fair, I can definitely see how his constant commentary could become grating, and, luckily for those that dislike it, the devs included a way to tone it down in the vast array of accessibility settings (of which there are more than a few, I’m pleased to report; Forspoken is a HIGHLY accessible game!). In terms of bugs or glitches, I encountered exactly none; my computer ran the game flawlessly and scene transitions were seamless. I’m heartbroken that it’s highly likely that we’ll never get to see the entirety of Frey’s journey. Forspoken was just the beginning, and while it does have a satisfying conclusion, it’s quite obvious that a sequel was intended. I can only hope that now, years after its initial release, people will give the game another chance. It’s not perfect, not by any stretch of the imagination, but what game is? If you have some extra money, are a fan of anything I listed above, then grab this game the next time it’s on sale!
This is why I still game. Epics like this. The story starts you off with a character more relatable than most thrust into a magical and alien-ish world on top of acquiring a strange companion with magical powers to boot. The voice acting and writing are actually quite witty. There's quite a well thought out world to explore here. The combat is hard'n fast, with the addition of magic skills/abilities adding for some nice diversity in your combat style. Been curious about this one for awhile seeing the negative reviews to what looks like an amazing game had me rather confused. The usual mo anytime a game features a a female lead and isn't white. The game is damn good. Bravo.
