Traverse a world steeped in beauty and mystery, from overgrown city streets to magical caverns and murky bogs, each hand-crafted to test your resolve.
Scour every corner; leaving no stone unturned in your quest to discover hidden treasures, unravel lost mysteries, and claim the spoils of Vahrin for your own.

The city of Vahrin found itself overwhelmed by a swarm of the grotesque, insect-like creatures known as khraiax.
In response, many of the Free Cities, united under the banner of the Combined Order, sent their armies to confront this terrible threat.
But victory was not to be theirs, for while the khraiax stood little chance against the might of the combined forces, a far greater danger rose from beneath the city’s streets.
Vahrin’s king lies dead, along with thousands of soldiers who marched to the city’s aid. Now only its most stalwart defenders remain, desperately fighting to reclaim their beloved home.

Vahrin’s Call stands as its own complete tale, yet it forms just one part of a sweeping epic narrative that spans nations and continents.
What begins as smaller, isolated struggles becomes part of a greater saga, where every character’s trial, every kingdom’s war, and every act of courage or betrayal weaves the tapestry of the unfolding story throughout the world.

This game is really chill and relaxing , I love exploring and finding new skills and gear Skill point reset means can always try new builds all the time . It runs really well at 4k and environmental detail and art style is awesome, I do wish facial animations were better, the art style and models are fine, its just they are stiff, they need over exaggerated facial animations to go with it

If you are looking for an RPG that lets you build a custom character so you can play exactly how you want, highly recommended. Classless character progression system lets you focus on weapons, skills, spells you like in any combination you prefer. Combat is decent and it is fun to experiment and get more powerful. Currently focusing on greatswords+fire magic with bow as a secondary, but just about anything is probably viable and can be good. It is otherwise very low-budget, very much an indie title so don't expect AAA graphics or a gripping plot. But if the first paragraph sounds like your cup of tea, you will probably have a blast.
I went into this after seeing the mixed score and almost bounced. I set a 2 hour timer just incase but I'm happy i kept playing. This is a game made by seven people and it shows in the best way. You can feel how much they cared about the exploration. The zones aren’t some endless empty open world they’re handcrafted and actually full of secrets. Skill books, hidden paths, random gnomes, little side stories that actually add to the world. Turning the quest markers off makes it feel like those older games where you actually had to look around and figure things out. That part is excellent. The classless system is the other big win. You just level whatever you use. I’ve been running a weird greatsword + fire magic + bow hybrid and it feels natural. Different weapons actually play differently, and mixing styles is encouraged instead of punished. Combat takes a little getting used to it’s slower and more methodical than most modern ARPGs but once the timing clicks it’s satisfying. It has that old Fable / early 2000s ARPG charm. The art style is vibrant and a bit stylized, the music fits, and the voice acting is way better than I expected from a team this size. Some of the performances really land. It’s not perfect. The UI still feels like a placeholder in places, the world can feel a bit empty of random NPCs, and performance isn’t the smoothest on every system. Writing is pretty standard fantasy fare with some humor. None of that stopped me from keeping the game installed and wanting to see more of it. If you’re after a polished AAA experience or something that holds your hand the whole way, this probably isn’t it. But if you miss those games that rewarded curiosity and let you build whatever character you wanted without a rigid class system, this one delivers. It’s rough around the edges in the way a lot of passionate indie projects are, and I’m glad I ignored the early negatives long enough to see what it actually is. Solid recommendation from me.
I'm having fun playing this game. Not much more to say.
Overall I am enjoying it, but it needs some QoL stuff. UI especially, plus more resolution support.
Wow, what a fun game. You can tell so much is handcrafted. Hitstop feels good, but could do with a bit more versus larger enemies. One odd thing is I haven't found any upgrade materials in the first several hours. Nitpicks aside, its been very addicting and fun. Can't wait for a bit of QoL improvements and we'll have a gem on our hands.

If you are looking for a smaller project of love and community dedication that is reasonably priced for what it offers give this title a chance. Seven developers poured years of their lives into making a quality game, learning the skills they needed along the way, and what they have accomplished is worthy of support. Hoping to see future work by this team. The ending reward was especially nice for those of us that remember what the early days of gaming were like and the insights that devs offered players to help them understand the heart behind a project.
