About

Utilise weapons, armour, abilities, alchemy ingredients, traps and anything else you can lay your hands on within an entirely classless character progression system.
Whether you want to be a nimble-footed archer flinging fireballs between arrows or face your foes, toe to toe as an axe-wielding whirlwind of death; the choice is yours.

The Vale of Vahrin is beset by threats from both within and without, the perfect place for a mercenary in search of their next contract.
Rival mercenaries, bandits, monstrous beasts and even hideous creatures infest the Vale of Vahrin, ready and waiting for their bounties to be claimed.
Master intense real-time action combat and adapt to every challenge, ensuring that no enemy, no matter how powerful, can stand in your way.

Aid the survivors in their personal tales of grief, love and even humour, as they fight back against the overwhelming odds facing Vahrin.
Traverse a world steeped in beauty and mystery, from overgrown city streets to magical caverns and murky bogs, each hand-crafted to test your resolve.
Scour every corner; leaving no stone unturned in your quest to discover hidden treasures, unravel lost mysteries, and claim the spoils of Vahrin for your own.

The city of Vahrin found itself overwhelmed by a swarm of the grotesque, insect-like creatures known as khraiax.
In response, many of the Free Cities, united under the banner of the Combined Order, sent their armies to confront this terrible threat.
But victory was not to be theirs, for while the khraiax stood little chance against the might of the combined forces, a far greater danger rose from beneath the city’s streets.
Vahrin’s king lies dead, along with thousands of soldiers who marched to the city’s aid. Now only its most stalwart defenders remain, desperately fighting to reclaim their beloved home.

Vahrin’s Call stands as its own complete tale, yet it forms just one part of a sweeping epic narrative that spans nations and continents.
What begins as smaller, isolated struggles becomes part of a greater saga, where every character’s trial, every kingdom’s war, and every act of courage or betrayal weaves the tapestry of the unfolding story throughout the world.

Had high hopes, but it trash. There is a difficulty spike with annoying shielded trolls that just extinguished my will to play.
An amazing game—thanks to the developers.
Performance, was mid (needed DLSS)... but overall bug free and fun intro... gonna play more, looks like a unique experience!

Yes! this game is to be recommended! Im very happy for the devs. They did an incredible job. What works: Beautiful world, amazing and unique Fairy Tale style. The world ist insanely cool. The levels are beautifully Crafted. Its just a good videogame. Worlds full. not empty! Colors. Variety of Build crafting is there. If bugs/issues are fixed this will be a classic banger. Right now its enjoyable with some frustration points i will mention in the following: - Its an action Combat "souls-very-lite" Game. Thats realtime action combat usually very forgiving but still action combat. therefor I have no idea how the idea that i have to open a menu mid fight to select an action was ever able to survive any sort of playtesting. This is for sure my greatest problem with this game. Its an easily solvable problem. Button Chords with the 4 Face buttons is the absolute minimum and should be all it takes.. of course that is not the only solution but it is one. - Frozen Weapon Spell did not apply on Special abilities, which made Auto hitting with the freezing weapon spell applied a better choice than using the actually cool button combo abilities that are in the game. I think it qualifies as crucial issue and a bug that should be fixed asap. Non forgiving player sees his build is broken and quits + leaves bad review.. - The menus are just lists.. thats sometimes an advantage for quickness but especially when lists get longer its mostly makes it tedious and hard to navigate. up to the point where i just dont want to engage with the menu at all. This one is harder to solve probably so.. yeah i guess its ok. - I´m not the biggest fan of locking Character Progression behind exploration - Im talking about the skillbooks. But thats a choice i respect i just disagree with it and dont like it as a player. - Visible XP would help i think aswell. So i know that i´m grinding along and understand my character progress better. - Some balancing issues are still there - The Crab Bosses (optional) spawn new adds relentlessly. thats just not fun. Give player time to deal with the adds, then attack boss, then spawn new adds. easy fix = big fun! Overall i like the game. I would even consider a second playthrough with another build at some point after more issues have been tackled. As far as performance goes i had no issues...
This game is what I expected it to be and because of that I enjoyed it quite a bit. The game is reminiscent of the original Fable, it also reminds me of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I also think this is the kind of game that would have been very successful of PS3/Xbox 360 back in the day. My main complaints is the jumping sometimes felt impresice, and there wasnt enough feedback on hitting enemies. Other than those 2 gripes, this was a good first foray into the industry from Titan Roc. TLDR: 3.5-4/5, a good time.
I enjoyed this quite a bit, and I think it helped to view it less as an "RPG" and more as an exploration-focused collectathon action adventure. The strengths of the game that really made me keep going were the world and level design, the variety of how each zone looked (lighting, color palette, set dressing), and especially the handful (~5?) of really clever hidden multistage puzzle quests. Those specific quests/optional secrets really put a lot of trust in the player and I'm happy to have worked through each of them on my own. In particular there was one puzzle right at the end of the game that gave me a shot of vitality just as I was getting a bit tired of the final level. As for the combat? It was fine! Perhaps a bit much of it, and bows are undeniably king, but I got a lot of use out of traps, and the final boss was a lot easier once I brewed up a specific potion to counter one of its nastier elements, so that felt like a worthy investment. The story was surprisingly grim! Almost oppressively so at times. Don't expect this to be a cheerful adventure. Finally, probably the best implementation of developer credits I've ever seen; really left me with positive vibes. Hope this team gets to put out another game, hopefully in less than 12 years!
Highly recommend this game if your into 1990-2000 RPG's. It has great graphics especially if you use third party reshade program, but I use that program with every game I play. Don't expect Crimson Desert but what game can top CD? Vahrin's has a great story, combat is very fun and it has a very easy play style, simple but very enjoyable. Most posts I have seen compare it to old school fable. I agree as well as Ultima Ascension. Gothic like, Elex like just as far as it's old school. Could be better at music could be better with inventory. If you like these games mentioned above and want a fluid, fun experience I would get this game. No bugs so far, runs great and fast. Anyone that liked or hated Of Ash and Steel or love the Gothic remake will enjoy this title.
Great game! Highly recommend! Running in 4K with DLSS 120fps cap with zero issues
I like this a lot. Nice work
