从中期开始就无聊了,关卡千篇一律堆怪严重子弹少我就不说啥了,你起码技能给我安排好的啊,build也b不起来主动被动加起来只能带三个合一何意味,爽都不让你爽
Lots of fun. Well tuned difficulty. Great feel.
The gameplay feels much smoother then FMF1, which is sad because the balancing is garbage. You get a ton of customizability in your skill-book and guns..that you cant use. Enjoy using 3 of the near 30 available skills all game, as youll get the best ones early. Each of the few weapons you get have a few forms of which youre stuck using one type. There is little to no healing available while you get spammed with tanky enemies. Played on normal but feels like hard from the first game. More expensive and worse then the first somehow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Having played both first and the second game, i can still recommend this one, though i feel that the first game was better. Caution, there will likely be some spoilers. Forgive me Father 2's plot lost nearly all mystery that the previous game had. Here, you are not "delving deeper into mystery" - it is all the player character's mental retrospective. Same with the enemies, the first time a new enemy appeared in the first game, it was something special. Here, they just appear. As far as gameplay goes, it feels even more arena-ish then the previous game. On its own, there is nothing bad, but there are only a few areas you can clear somewhat before getting caught. Simply put, get used to ambushes. As i read other reviews, i need to agree that there is little progression. Weapons in most cases are indeed just side grades and the player power is similar from the first to last level. As some called it the "magic system", or simply upgrades seem to be not quite well understood. You have 3 slots, and you can choose between passives and active effects. Actives are only working during tome activation, and passives keep on working always. Levels are generally good, but i feel that they are not as interesting as the first games, though maybe also because there is no mystery. The one, notable exception is the egypt level. This map is extremely confusing - and i feel that i am really good at having mental maps and i was still confused plenty of times. Bug-wise, there are few serious issues: The map that should have been redesigned - egypt/lever hunt one, if you move through the level in not the "correct way", some enemies will never spawn, preventing you from getting 100% completion. Fortunately, you can replay a map, but that is very annoying. The other issue i found is an exploit. I am unsure if its exactly that, but if you have the passive upgrade that increases maximum health and armor and a passive that increases maximum health, each level the bonus to health increases additionally. Close to the end of the game, i was walking through bulllets and explosions, barely being hurt, despite playing on highest difficulty. And the health pickups i grabbed restored minimal amount of health, suggesting that my max health was way over the top. All in all, it was a fun ride, but it was less fun than the original one. Progression and Story did weaken the experience, though the atmosphere was still great.
A solid sequel that both streamlined and added some more complexity to the series. It picks right back up with the priest who is battling to keep his sanity as the Cthulhu monster is still attempting to corrupt him in order to use him as a vessel to bring about unimaginable horrors to the work so you must confront your sins of old and make choices on how to absolve yourself of them should you choose. I think the game did what it meant to and while i think its stumbles in some of its execution and adding layers where there didnt need to be any i still thought it was a solid game but not one i will think about much moving forward Full Review Here: https://youtu.be/jB-K7YmQdt8?si=utwDFPx2nQuGZ2r6
Слабее первой части, но всё равно достоин внимания.
Jumping straight into the sequel right after finishing the first game yesterday gave me a perfect side-by-side comparison of how this franchise is evolving. From my perspective, Forgive Me Father 2 is a visually stunning experience with an incredible soundtrack and that signature paper-like comic book style, but unfortunately, many gameplay changes feel like a massive step back compared to the original. The game has shifted away from the super fast-paced retro action. Adding reload mechanics and changing the balance means we now have a much more tactical, slower shooter where you have to use cover and move step by step. The combat loop feels completely different because almost every single enemy now shoots non-stop projectiles. Getting one-shoted with full health on hard difficulty is incredibly frustrating, and it is not even highest difficulty. I finished all latest DOOM games and even strongest enemies never oneshot you but here some midtier enemy jsut depletes your healthbar completely and it is more frustrating than fun Now about the downsides in my opinion, which cost the game exactly three points from a perfect score. First, I am taking off one full point for the darkness mechanic and the redesigned flashlight. In the first game, managing your light was immersive and even fun. Here, you are forced to constantly spam the F button to recharge your flashlight mid-fight just to see what you are shooting at, which completely kills the flow. Second, another point goes away because the progression system feels very meh. Upgrades are now hidden behind secrets instead of experience. The active and passive trees offer over thirty perks, but being restricted to picking only three feels incredibly sad compared to the freedom of the first game's builds, and you cannot even sell weapons back to try different variations. Third, the final point is lost due to the bosses. First game had epic Lovecraftian fights, with different mechanics and some challenging combat, but here all the bosses were too easy and nonmemorable. I killed all of them on my first try, and the only interesting one was in the university chapter because of running and jumping platforming during fight While the visual design is outstanding, these gameplay choices and mechanical changes make it a clear step back from the flawless 10/10 masterpiece we played yesterday. That is why I am giving this game a 7/10 maximum, which is a shame, but as I always say - that's my opinion and things which I think could've been executed better
The Doom 3 of the franchise. Still good though. Just Slower and higher production.
reminiscent of old Doom games. :V i liked the art style and the game play on expert felt both; annoying staying alive and rewarding landing all dem headshots. Now, i aim for the head instinctively so their were maybe only 4 point in the entire playthrough that took me a couple tries. Cover helps, but if I'm honest i was mostly just running around, jumping around, head shotting with any and all weapons you can with and using my explosives on the big bois or just groups. Not sure why, but it worked. Fair note in the beginning level i died a lot, again i stupidly said ima do expert, and then after like the 10th death it clicked :V first off, don't just try the hardest difficulty unless you want a true challenge of, can i dodge enough bullets and kill fast enough that im not in too much danger. You lose health fast on the hardest difficulty that you can play your first run through. I mostly just kept moving, took small breaks behind cover when i could or just kept strafing and jumping. Anyways. -Combat: simple, reminiscent of Doom so i had fun. -Health and Ammo pickups. V: idk it always felt like i had enough and as end game came near i slowly, often, got more and more ammo to burn through. Its like early game incentivizes you to save ammo and use melee when the enemies are not the moderate/heavy damage ranged Enemies and late game V: idk i just kept getting excessive ammo, burn through almost all of it, and then explore a bit and progress the level and by next big fight im either decent on ammo or full. I liked the build up from, be careful and use ammo sparingly, to, still be careful, but feel free to use a little of everything. -Story and art overall was a nice trip. The small snippets of lore/story and the edgy monologuing def kept me immersed. The enemies were interesting to look at or gross :D i loved/hated it. What the ending little cutscene suggested was interesting and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it got me thinking...im probably wrong with my theory, but its interesting. weapons: Just try all that you can and of course look for them secret areas. :V their almost always small, but when ya find em ya get some goodies and sometimes a upgrade thingy. So try all the weapons as you progress. You will end up with some you will keep using, like i loved 2 varient of the shotgun as my go tos, but everything else i kept rotating until the last 2 levels. i enjoyed trying out and seeing the animation for all the weapons i unlocked except say 4 guns i never got the upgrade token things for. But what i did unlock was nice ^-^) deadly and weird. small note: idk if its just me, but i may have had less trouble then others as i got to late game purely cause i finally tried out life steal and it felt almost required at times as every now and then I'll get chunked for staying to still or not strafing enough, sometimes for not clearing out enough of the enemies fast enough. I got better at it, but I'm glad around the last 4-5 levels i switched one of my ♥♥♥♥ around abilities for the life steal.....and added the ability to also mean mug and kill enemies. All that being said. It is doable without life steal :V but goodness it comes in clutch for some heals if you don't use it, have something like Mist (hard to aim at you ability) on. anyways for someone who never got to try the first game of this and only tried this one. 8/10. I enjoyed myself greatly for about 14 hours. (i explored every level trying to find dem secrets.)
