Football tournament

Lucky me gets to write the first review for Football Tournament, which is an asset/template flip, that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by copying a game template from GameMaker Studio, changing a few things, then dumping the barely functional "product" on Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. In this case it was a GameMaker Studio template for doing a simple billiards style mobile app puzzle, but the developer flipped some art assets from another site to at least make it look like they had some involvement with developing this rather than directly trying to sell other people's work. It's refreshing that the developer acknowledges they're using someone else's work here to try make money from Steam. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and results in terrible games like this one. It's just a basic mobile app/billiards game with a soccerball, as you use players as the cue ball and try to hit the soccer ball into the goal, while hoping the AI doesn't do the same thing to you. It's barely a game, it wouldn't even do well on the app stores. Not that they'd even allow this, because they have more QA than Valve does. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, using a game construction kit requires no game development talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. It's almost as bad as an outright asset flip. Phoenixxx Games have a long history of asset flips and GameMaker Studio template copy+pastes, as they routinely try to scam people into paying them for someone else's work. I can't recommend anyone pays them for this kind of thing. To confirm this is just an unethical cash grab, you can take one look at the ludicrous $10 USD price tag for this garbage, as well as the way the "developer" sold keys in bulk to DailyIndieGame immediately at launch, which they do time and time again. An important note: Phoenixxx Games are known asset flippers and have previously taken other developers work and put it on Steam in an attempt to scam gamers and get paid for someone else's effort. One example of Phoenixxx Games doing this is Cat From The Box, which is really the "[url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kje_0eMY7g4]Cat and Food[/url]" asset, written by the actual developers, Softrave. Asset flips are harmful to the gaming industry. They're nothing but cash grabs, and they harm genuine indie developers by reducing their visibility on Steam. They make it harder for gamers to find decent games made by genuine game developers. Because this game has all the same low quality as an asset flip, as well as the other problems with it, it's impossible to recommend.

Phoenixxx Games is back with another template / asset kit that they stole from someone else, added a title screen and uploaded to Steam as their own product. The underlying template is very basic. The description discusses standings but this game doesn't have a season mode or any team records tracking. Avoid Phoenixxx Games. They are scammers.

Dieses Spiel ist sehr schlecht. Erzielte Tore zählen teilweise nicht. Die "Spielfiguren" clippen ineinander. Der Sound lässt sich nicht ausstellen. Es gibt kein richtiges System. Nach den Toren werden die Figuren nicht wieder neu aufgestellt. Es ist einfach katastrophal schlecht und wirklich so schlecht dass es keinen Spaß macht.
