Retro TV Game Collection

Took me on a great nostalgia trip! The controls are intuitive and smooth, the music is oddly relaxing and the visuals are simple and true to the retro theme! A nice variation of game modes and options make it challenging and addictive! Especially enjoyed the football mode! This game is perfect for killing time while on a lunch break or even going against your mates while chucking back a few beers. The achievements made me laugh and it's clear to see some dude put a lot of effort into making this an all round solid experience. A great little indie game. Nailed it!

Downloaded and played with my wife for about 15 minutes after dinner. She beat me in straight sets in all game modes. Retro TV Game Collection is a fix! In all seriousness we had great fun playing this and expect to bust it out again in the future. Its great being able to play on each side of the keyboard huddled around one laptop screen. Made it feel like we were really locked in battle! Especially fun we thought was the football game mode. Controlling a striker AND a goalie added an extra dimension to the game play. Although trying to vex each other on the squash mode by pretending to go for the ball when it was actually the other persons turn had moments of hilarity also. Sometimes a game can just be about a bit of healthy competition! This game could best be described as "Pong served a few different ways", and there's nothing wrong with that! Recommended :)

I have been looking for this for some time, a replica of my first games console. The layout adds to the nostalgic feel and I have to say a big thank you to the developer for this. The only con for me and and it could just be for me is that the slow speed still seems quite fast on the football.

Though a simple concept. it's PONG, and who doesn't love PONG!? Nothing to complain about really. It's dead cheap, and fun to relive that retro gaming feel with your friends on local play. Hell, even if you don't have any local friends to play with, the game is extremely relaxing to play both sides of the screen by yourself on the 'Low' speed setting while listening to a podcast. It helps build reaction time and finger dexterity. Bloody love PONG.

Pong game with a few tweaks. Really liked the customizations available, and the "FOOTBALL" variant of Pong. It surprisingly adds a whole new spin to a very old game.

A perfect rendition of *the* classic computer game. This is pong, plain and simple but with 3 additional game modes added in, along with simple and intuitive toggle switches which allow you to tailor the challenge to suit your needs. These certainly extend interest and build on the fun, making this a purchase (it's £1!) I'm very pleased with. It's very solidly built and I quickly found my 'zen' playing both the classic tennis mode and the oddly relaxing practice (solo squash) mode. I've yet to really get down and dirty with football but the multiplayer is excellently implemented (though I will need to live down the shame of losing to a remarkably fast-learning 5 year-old) and it feels very old school, sharing a keyboard for controls. I'm probably going to spend a good few hours ticking off all the achievements and am mightily intrigued by the teased 'secrets' and Easter eggs. If you're remotely a fan of the original, a bit of a retro gamer, or just looking for a relaxing back and forth to fill your down times I really cannot recommend this enough. Great stuff. Edit - The Football may be my favourite mode!
