About
If you’ve played traditional football managers, you’re probably familiar with the following feelings:
Complex attributes: Footballers have many attributes, and you don’t always understand which ones truly affect the match outcome. Often, the only strategy becomes buying high-level players instead of finding a footballer whose unique attribute perfectly suits your tactics.
Unclear results: You never really know why you win or lose. This forces players to search for "winning" formations on forums instead of analysing the opponent and consciously selecting footballers capable of exploiting their weaknesses.
Financial complexity: Club funds quickly disappear, and it’s hard to understand how to manage finances and strategically plan expenditures.
Football, Tactics & Glory is a game about full control and a complete understanding of what’s happening on the pitch and in the club:
Transparency of attributes: You always know exactly how each footballer’s attribute impacts the encounters, allowing you to customise formations for each opponent, defeating even stronger teams with the right player selection and tactical approach. This also makes transfers much more interesting and exciting.
Control over tactics: Feel like a real coach, making smart tactical decisions, not just changing formations hoping for luck.
Control over luck: Luck plays a big role, as in real football. But you can minimise its impact by understanding your players’ abilities and building the team around your playstyle.
Strategic financial planning: The game’s economy is designed so that you always feel in control of your finances. The game demonstrates the importance of strategies like "developing" footballers for sale and finding promising talents who will become your future stars.
No micromanagement: This is a game about strategic planning, not micromanagement. Instead of wasting time on increasing an attribute by 0.01%, you make decisions that significantly affect the club’s fate. Therefore, the game lacks the boring elements of football managers: endless spreadsheets, routine tasks, and unimportant mechanics.
Great variety: FTG is so deep that even after hundreds of hours, you’ll continue discovering new and interesting things. The game world develops uniquely each time, creating new challenges and exciting emergent stories. This makes each campaign different from the last one.
The game values your time: You can complete one football season in a few real hours instead of days, as in other football managers. At the same time, each season is packed with events and interesting decisions.
Comprehensive tutorial: The game explains all elements in detail. And if you still have questions, the active community will answer them on the forum or Discord.
Good turn-based mechanics allow complex systems to be simplified, while retaining their essence and emotions. For example, XCOM perfectly conveys the feel of firefights with aliens, and Civilization — the development of a civilisation.
Our turn-based system uses key football concepts to make match outcomes and your tactical decisions clear and transparent. Once you understand how these mechanics work, you’ll feel the emotions inherent in real football.
Additionally, the ability to take your time with each move allows for comfortable gameplay. Especially if you’re over 40 and don’t have the reaction speed you once had.
Yes, it’s a serious football manager that’s easy to start playing due to its apparent simplicity, but hard to stop because of the depth of its features.
Take your club to the top: Start in the lower league and lead your club to the heights of world football. Or choose any club in the Premier League or another league of your choice.
Create your own leagues and clubs: With the built-in editor, you can create real clubs and leagues.
Use modifications: Take advantage of numerous mods created by the player community.
Dynamic game world: Other clubs buy and sell players, train them, and develop youth — the game world lives and evolves with you.
Promotion and relegation system: Each country has a Premier League and several lower leagues. Teams are promoted or relegated between leagues depending on their final position. Top teams from different countries participate in continental tournaments similar to the Champions League and Europa League.
Club development: Improve infrastructure, hire coaches, and develop your Youth Academy.
Unique players: A powerful face generation system makes each footballer unique. The face editor is also available for you.
Online matches: Play a friendly match with a friend online.
Co-op play: Create a tournament and play a season with friends on one computer (or online via Remote Play Together). Up to 32 people can participate in the tournament.
Twitch integration: Viewers can interact with the game via chat.

战旗玩法非常有趣,但是经营部分又臭又长,而且比赛收益过于低,这都限制了游戏。 有时候会卡顿一下不知道为什么,优化有问题。
It's fun but feel less depth than the previous Football Manager game i played long time ago
Finally a Football manager that is not completely overloaded but complex enough to be a lot of fun - I also really like the turn based play which is probablya matter of taste to some extend, but you can also simulate games which usually is the idea in manager games anyways. The devs are very active listening to feedback from the players - great job. I can only recommend this :)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is a little gem. A truly entertaining soccer managerial sim, a tribute to how these games were simply fun when I was much younger. Players have a reasonable number of different values and abilities, and you don't get lost in endless screens with numbers and stats. When I play, I want to "pretend" I am a football coach, I don't want to spend hours in front of Excell sheets. And this game gives me exactly what I look for in a managerial football simulator.
Championship.. I mean Football Manager, used to be fun. Not having touched it since the early Nougties, I installed the latest one and got a headache within 5 minutes. It's too complicated. Then I found this game. It's almost as fun as the old CM games but nowhere near as frustrating because I control the players. Unlike in CM I can't blame the Centerback for being an idiot because I'm the one controlling him. Easy to pick up, not difficult to master but making money is helluva hard.
Great, now I think I am near the end so let us try this again. First, I think it is a great game. Quite a few flaws, but I like it. It looks nice, responsive, music doesn't get old (I quite like it) and I am amazed how many animations my little men can achieve + how many things are adaptable given that I happen to quite like micromanaging. Also, localization (how believable local clubs are) is just amazing. Now to the flaws. The most glaring problem is pacing. It has a slow start, grindy middle and a nice end. You start with little of everything, no prestiege, no money, random players (and next to no knowladge). The problem is that at that point AI will probably immediately outpace you, for some reason it is just more capable to get better players stats-wise which is frustrating, because you get everything by winning, including the opportunity to adapt your team, so it can feel as a chicken and the egg game. AI is also quite smart. Not always, but it will know you are weaker and it will tend to bully you. It doesn't help that many rules are not obvious (or even explained), so at the start it will be hard to outsmart something that knows every one of them and as someone who doesn't watch football, I needed a very long long time before I understood what is "offside" or how the game handles it. Even till this day, AI always had better stats than me, so I do not know how not to be bullied, but I found my ways around it. It doesn't help that AI starts with a hendicap, you can adapt your team to its determened team, which is HUGE advantage ... once your players have proper skills to use it. As you start to develop skills, this is where the game actually begins because this is the only thing that can get AI under control, because AI might have more of them, but they have the same range + you can adapt your team to counter AI's + look what AI is doing and steal its better tactics (except those that requite high stats to pull off). Once I figured out all that, this is where pain really started. I started getting basic resources, like fans, money, prestiege, but you get more if you win and you can lose fans that are important for revenue if you lose or simply not win enough. But if you win, you get better opponents as your rank is exploding forward. At some point I was almost crying as game evaluates you with 0-5 start and I was getting opponents with 2,5 stars more than myself. It is a pain to play, they WILL bully you. But you want that. Because higher ranks mean more resources. How much more? Well, I think that at the start of a game I was getting 75 Exp per win. Not so long ago my player got 6000 Exp, 750 Exp or so if I lose. I think this is ridicolous, but here are we. So ... most of this time is grinding vs 4,5 and 5 stars, because they cant be better than that, so if you can get closer, difference will slowly but eventually fade away. At that time I also noticed simulations of the game are broken. I mostly dont use them, but I played some of them when the pain was at its highest and ... they feel random. Some feel plausible, but I once KNEW I would lose, no chance whatsoever, but instead I won 2:1. I would not even today be able to score even one goal with my team from that time agains what was in front of me. So, feels random. I am now at the point where I finally feel comfortable in my chances to win, by accident I won national, premiere and european cup in the same year and ... I have no idea how. It was a close one, didn't even cheat (quite easy to cheat, but I mostly used it at the start because I was trying to guess how game rules work, which sounds fair). So, yea, game is way better now, but also somehow boring, I feel more motivated with low than great chances, but at least I dont cry in frustration anymore, so that is a plus, my main frustration now is that I get only 1.500.000 money per match as things are expensive now, which is more than ... I think it was 300 per match at the start of the game? Strange times. Few bugs, but those are rare. There are 2 gripes that I really miss. Game is extremly tactical, a lot of numbers. Why do I not see numbers how likely I am to by random chance miss goal when doing headshots? And I also don't quite get how numbers work when you go for a headshot and you get 80, opponent that is trying to prevent it gets 15, but he is better than you, but not if he gets 3 ... I dont get that at all, how do I judge my chances? Sometimes I just roll with the punches, because I have no idea what is going on and hope for the best. Game can be quickened, but then the entire game is quickened. I would want for animations to stay the same, because it feels more natural, but to only get rid of those long pauses between them that can really pull your nerve after a few hundreds of game as you know what will happen anyway. Also, I would like to choose to play in lower league than possible at the start of the year. 2,5 start stronger opponent is just a bit too much, I want to have fun, not whatever I was doing. How to micromanage player apearance feels ... nice, but I think it is a clear overkill. Can my manager get a gf or bf instead? I think he deserves it. So, nice game, not for everyone, buy if you are willing to suffer and every now and then feel over the moon.
:l
I was at "Absolutely Not" before I finished my first game but... that was like 4 seasons ago so I guess thumbs up, lol.
Simple. Fun. Alive.
战棋足球结核的还挺好的,有点意思
