Focus Grove

Confesso que comprei sem saber muito como funcionava, mas achei tudo muito fofo e confiei cegamente que seria bom. E realmente, nao me arrependo da compra, o sistema de moedinhas é justo e, caso queira evoluir a fazendinha, a sistematica do jogo te obriga a dar um pouco de atençao pra diversao dos bichinhos tambem e nao só na produçao, o que por consequencia faz voce perder um tempo consideravel na decoraçao. Ja me peguei ansiosa pro timer de foco acabar pra ganhar as moedinhas e upar algo na fazendinha. Apesar de diversos pontos positivos, ainda ha alguns bugs. Eu mesma nao consigo jogar no momento por um bug de multi-monitor, mas mesmo assim, acho que vale a paciencia por ter lançado recentemente. O jogo quase todo dia tem atualizaçao pra resolver eventuais bugs e problemas, entao noto os devs bem atentos ao que a comunidade reporta. (posso estar errada, mas essa é a minha percepçao hehe

One of the better productivity tool games out there. I really like how the work of your woodlings is tied to the pomodoro timer. Meaning the game only progresses while you work, which helps to incentivize you to focus on your tasks so your woodlings will as well. And you don't get your rewards until the work session is over, to help you stay on takes until a break rolls around.

Hermoso juego, práctico y balanceado

I've absolutely fallen in love with Focus Grove. What started as a promising demo has grown into something that feels genuinely special. The ambient sounds are fantastic. I almost always choose the cat purring because it's incredibly calming and helps me settle into whatever I'm working on. Combined with the Pomodoro timer, task tracker, and habit tools, it makes staying focused feel much less like a chore. What impressed me most is how much has been added since the demo. There are so many extra features, rewards, customisation options, and adorable Woodlings to discover. Watching your little forest grow as you complete real-life tasks is surprisingly motivating, and it gives you a nice sense of progress without adding any pressure. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, whether you're studying, working, creating content, or just trying to stay organised. It's cosy, relaxing, and encourages healthy productivity instead of making you feel guilty for taking breaks. If you're looking for a focus app that's both practical and genuinely enjoyable to use, I can't recommend Focus Grove enough. It's become one of my favourite productivity companions.

I doubted if buying this game was a reasonable purchase for someone who has tried many productivity apps, including the original Pomodoro and ditched them all. But the game did boost my productivity a LOT! I mean 32 Hours? For me this IS huge! I think this game works for me because firstly, I can make money fast and there's a lot to buy, which motivates me good. The graphics are pleasing to the eye too which is also important. So now when I sit at the computer I automatically remember about this game, which makes me want to "play" it and to do so I need to find an "excuse"(such as To Do List). I have always felt guilty that I only want to play but never to do chores or to study but this game kinda hacks this feeling. Like I get a permission to play and simultaneously to be productive. Also what I think is a huge part of why it works is that it gives me a visual confirmation of my actions. That the time spent wasn't just wasted (because I have earned money and bought things😂). I've never had the patience to learn any skill because there's still a long way from seeing obvious progress, and small steps aren't noticeable. It was also impossible for me to keep track of statistics because any notes or screenshots I made always seemed to disappear😅. But this game solves all of it for me.

Great productivity game. The cute animals and their communal farming business really pull you in, if you let them. And while you have your typical pomodoro timer at the core of the adventure, you have a lot to explore on the farm to spend the virtual money you make when focussing and interesting characters to meet like the zen owl with some good suggestions to ponder about. Some of the encouraging messages the game sends you for finished timers can be a little bit too sweet, but it only bothers me when I have a bad day/am stressed. At the time of this review, Focus Grove didn't work properly for me on Linux (OS fights with the transparent game window and denies mouse focus) , but no issues on Windows.

This game truly has made me so much more productive in my daily life. I love the pomodoro timer, it's something I've always used when studying and now having it in a game format is so nice. I like that there is no music behind the game because that can sometimes cause me to be distracted. I love the ambiance feature because it allows me the option to choose if I want noise in the background while I work, and not only that, but it allows me to customize the noise and the volume. Cannot wait to see what features are added down the line and how my farm will continue to grow. I also love how easy it is the minimize the game on screen by using the up and down arrows, very convenient. The UI menu is also very customizable.
