I am a paraglider pilot in real life and this physics model is the most accurate I have ever played. It's an absolute blast doing fat wingovers, must have taken years for the developer to tune. I recommend using a controller and fine tuning the sensitivity for each glider. If you don't tune your controls it will be difficult to launch since the glider always starts at 0 ground speed. You will need to apply both brakes to prevent an overshoot unless you set a wind speed. As for developer recommendations I want the ability to change time of day, more maps, better sfx, and better performance.
Great game if you are looking for a physics based paragliding sim ! And incredible sound track :)
Cool concept and seems like it holds a lot of promise. However it has a lot of rough edges for an initial release. I can't say I can recommend it at the moment. Some issues so far: 1. I have to unplug other controllers when playing the game. (There's no way to differentiate between their input and my gamepad's) 2. I couldn't figure out how to launch from the ground rather than the air. 3. It seems like there's just one map out at the moment. 4. The glider will surge forward on launch and frontal if you don't catch the surge. (That makes sense if you're launching off the ground and can control when to bring the wing up, but doesn't make sense if you spawn in the air)
It's still very basic, has only 1 map, I needed to fiddle with controller mapping but after I found a working config I started enjoying trying to termal or keep the wing open in lee rotors. Learned to do some proper helico and wingovers too. It definitely has potential, the physics are really nice and if smoothed out and expanded could become really fun and useful. Hope the dev will keep on working on it. edit. (I'm also a paraglider pilot)
Although it is still in a very early alpha I'm having a blast playing it. It has a really steep learning curve at the begining but when you start to get the hang of the controls and the flow it gets you hooked. Recommended if you really enjoy realistic simulators. Congratulations to the developer! I hope you keep bringing updates to the game.
Fun et facile à prendre en main, utilisable avec une manette pour simuler la pression dans les freins et appuis sellettes ... Génial ! Et les différentes ailes ont vraiment des comportements différents, notamment avec le vent, qui est très bien réalisé
very good game. hope the developers keep this game updated cause its great. i will for sure donate if possible to keep the project up
