Flock of Dogs

I cannot stress enough, this game is amazing. I was expecting this to be another under developed indie title being given out for free on keymailer but it entirely exceeded my expectations. It has an adorable and nostalgic aesthetic based off of Dr. Seuss' books and it adds a lot to the charm. There are a lot of unique ideas implemented here and I can't wait to see more content out of this. I have played a LOT of roguelikes and this has made my list of hidden gems. All this is not to say it doesn't have some flaws, the controls can be a little awkward sometimes, I found myself accidentally interacting with objects near what I intended. The online multiplayer can be odd, my friend that I was playing with had a complete map desync and he had to leave the lobby and come back. Having to leave the lobby isn't a big deal as the multiplayer is drop in. I would love to see more power ups for the player character and an improved system for the learnable dog traits. More weapons would be a plus. There's so much potential here that it's staggering, I am so excited to see where this goes from here.

Ich liebe den Artstyle und die ganzen kleinen Witze in Flock of Dogs! Hab echt oft gelacht. Das Spiel hat super viel Charme, und ich hatte auf jeden Fall Spaß damit. Aber es hat auch seine Macken. Das Gameplay fühlt sich manchmal etwas clunky an, und es gibt ein paar Bugs auf die ich gestoßen bin. Es ist trotzdem spaßig, aber nicht immer ganz rund. Der Preis ist auch so eine Sache – der Friends Pass ist mega und macht das Ganze zugänglicher, aber ein bisschen günstiger hätte bestimmt geholfen, dass mehr Leute es mit Freunden zocken. Und ich wette, das macht dann noch mehr Spaß! Wenn ich neutral bewerten könnte, würde ichs tun, aber da es nur positiv oder negativ gibt, gebe ich positiv, weil ich den Humor und den Style echt gefeiert hab. Mit etwas Feinschliff könnte das Spiel richtig geil werden. für ein Spiel von einem Solo-Dev ist das schon echt beeindruckend!

If you ever read a Dr sues Book and wanted to dive into a world like that check this game out. It doesnt look like it at first glance but it has a lot going for it. Many weapons and locations to stock up on items and feed your whale or dogs. ITs one of those indie titles that you dont know what to expect from but it ended up being fun. Its going on the list of "i gotta play this"

A Nice Game with a own grafic style, it`s fun with a friend. But it needs Bot`s so it can keep players in low population servers with minigames.
