In this last chapter of the Five Nights at Freddy's original story, you must once again defend yourself against Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and even worse things that lurk in the shadows.

The scariest game in the FNaF franchise. Period. The atmosphere of the game makes you feel hopeless in a way that no other game in the series does. I legit had to stop playing for a while after I first got jumpscared, since that experience was so terrifying that I just quit because I didn't want that to happen again. The gameplay adds on to this, making you listen for quiet breathing and footsteps to survive, all in an effort to not get your ears blown out by an animatronic. It's great stuff. The gameplay is actually pretty simple, but the shorter night lengths don't make that that much of an issue, and just as when the gameplay gets monotonous, Nightmare Fredbear appears and kicks your ass. It's a great twist and an excellent 1-up of the "final boss" that was FNaF3's Springtrap. The game isn't perfect, however. The story, while not terrible in isolation, is absolutely horrid in retrospect. This game introduced a lot of new stuff that doesn't meaningfully link up to anything, and the stuff that is bad is REALLY BAD. The box was never answered, the toy animatronics that I'm sure were just cameos being turned into actual lore tid-bits makes the story hard to follow. These problems weren't super prominent until SL, but they absolutely started here. Another thing I don't like is Nightmare's jumpscare. I don't know why Scott decides to give the sickest looking, boss-like animatronics the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jumpscares, it just doesn't make any sense. Those are my main issues with the game. There are a few nitpicks I have, like the unfairness of Fun with Balloon Boy and the trivialness of 20/20/20/20 mode, but they're not major enough to actively hinder my enjoyment with the game. Overall, this is one of the best games in the FNaF series simply because it has a captivating gameplay loop, and actually does what a horror game should do, which is be actually scary.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is the one FNaF game I never actually played through until recent time. It had scared me a lot when I was younger and so I never played past night one or even beat it. Coming back to this game now that I'm older and a lot more experienced with FNaF I have to say this is the only game in the series that has made me sweat to an extreme while playing. This game is terrifying and will make you second guess yourself every time you open one of the doors and think "Am I going to die if I turn on my light? Did I hear its breathing?" This game is definitely the scariest in the entire series. I highly recommend.
GREAT game if you see this and read it thank you for reading, but overall a very fun game to play I am a big fnaf fan and love this game.
I don't play FNAF games, as much as I listen to the lore of the games and their origin. Out of all the games before security breach, I enjoyed this game the most. It's a simple game, no hard mechanics, and pretty good jumpscares! What I personally liked the best of this game, is the bits of lore you get between the nights. Just a sneak peak of what's going on in the FNAF universe. If you're a FNAF fan, I totally recommend trying out this game.
very spooky the scariest one, which is why its also the best one.
a game that makes you face your fear and stand tall. a perfect test of courage.
