There is no room for heroes and survival is almost hopeless. Excessively inferior, you will be hunted mercilessly. More than a million years in the future, there is no earth nor humanity - only a few survivors - who desperately protect what is keeping them alive on the m00ns: 3 CUBEs...

Game review for final Moon This game is super duper cheap! When you can get >1hour fun out of it, it's well worth the investment. The ingame soundtrack is very nice for me. When you like electro / techno it could be very nice for you too. At first you should do the tutorial, even when it takes some time and even whe you are a hardcore pro gamer, without it you can easy miss fun, or even success, because game is not really easy (in higher levels). The visuals are nicely done, controls are not so complicated to learn, even when you play on keyboard like me (no X cube controller) Here is a video of gameplay from Dev on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61nEN2Dx_uw
I like tower defense games and I liked the futuristic game art, sound effects and music. Some parts of futuristic art I took as a wallpaper for my computer because I liked it. This is a Defender game along with the Missile Command parts gameplay mixing the two styles and I liked that in gamplay. The game has time manipulation and the movement of the ship where you can use your aim to hit enemies in their vulnerabilities. I recommend this game.
"final m00n - Defender of the Cubes" is quite a mess. It's an indie/amateur made 3D rendered 2D (ish) side view shoot 'em up. You control some wacky future spaceship and protect cubes from UFOs or something... the narrative is a train wreck. There's time manipulation gimmicks that just serve to make what should be a simple game more convoluted but less enjoyable than it should be. At least it's not using pixel "art"? From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. We can say with great certainty that this game is not an asset flip. This is because the assets are of such poor quality that no self respecting asset creator or artist would publish them under any circumstances. Certainly, nobody likes to see asset recycling, stock assets are intended to be used as placeholders until superior assets can be created by the developer, but when we get what's worse than either stock assets being flipped or professional assets, it's a reason for gamers to go out of their way to avoid the product. The game assets are far from bleeding edge, with lowish polygon counts and somewhat low resolution textures, making this look like it's at least 10 years old. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks poor in comparison to more professionally produced games as a result of their decisions. Bewilderingly, the game doesn't include proper audio controls, so you can't turn off the annoying sound/background music, you'll need to alt+tab out and stop it using the Windows sound mixer. This is obviously not okay and it's unclear why the developers chose not to include this basic feature. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 110,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam? "final m00n - Defender of the Cubes" has the preposterous price of around $8 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. For comparison, the $8 asking price for this game could get you games like "Assassin's Creed: Odyssey", "Far Cry 5" or "The Vanishing of Ethan Carter". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
This game DOES have potential, but I'm sorry, the pace is so SLOW, the cutscenes are needlessly long-winded and not skippable, the tutorial took almost 30 minutes. a mind-numbing 30 minutes of idling through slow dialogue with next to no gameplay, by the end of which I didn't even want to play the game anymore. The only saving grace is the beautiful music, but I'm sorry, when the dialogue and cutscenes are longer than the gameplay, and the tutorial is even longer than that, it's just impossible to enjoy.
Iam the guy of pulp sci-fi, the one who watches those monstrocityes from the 50's... i love that era. When i saw the retro-scifi environment, with those flying saucers and the grey-noisy filter in a shmup, i was sold. But man... how wrong i was. I love the shoot 'em up genre, becouse its INSTANT FUN and action without all the boring modern gameplay elements they try to pack there games with. But this game is not like any other shmup.... in one hour i had absolutely zero fun with it. This has to be one of the most boring and slow tutorial i have EVER seen. Why anyone would choose such tutorial design, only to frustrate players? First - u enter the game - cannot skip very slow cutscenes. Then u start the tutorials, and there are WALL OF TEXTS all the way, and u have to push ok, ok , ok, but u can only do that very slowly, even if u already read everything . And sometimes the tutorial says: when a rocket comes, it damages the cube's shield. And MAN... THEY REALLY show you a rocket coming in slow motion for a minute and u have to wait for the impact. I totally went to make a coffee. Are you serious? :D Yes, becouse the next thing was, the tutorial tries to explain the most difficult mechanic of the game: the landing. And listen: u DONT have to do that in the tutorial, u cannot even try. One of the most difficult stuff in the game, and after the tutorial i still had no idea, how to do that. I managed to make a flip next to the platform in slow mo in the game and accidently a survivor hopped on, but that just did not felt "landing" to me. And the gameplay... i was so bored. Meteors and spheres for half an hour.... i dunno, i believe everything u say guys, but for me, if a shmup cannot give 1 minute FUN after 1 hour, its just a serious waste of my time. That is here a huge problem of the genre: almost every single 3d shmup totally wrong about this genre. They just try to impress with graphics but colluded with NOT FUN elements, slow gameplay, very ... overcomplex and wobbly mechanics (those ship turns, and waitings for animations to end, landing.... nothing is fun). I can see that work is went into this game, thoughts went into this game, and i understand these things. But i cannot give a positive rating. Learn from titles, like: Cosmonator, DevilEngine, even Remote Life, Super Hydorah, the absolutely simple, still so good Gunlocked, or Broodstar... in 3d even Hyper-5 was a fun ride. If a mechanic is not fun, it has no place in a game. A shmup should never feel SOOO SLOOOOOOW.
