Fun game, but genuinely, without exaggeration, THE WORST voice acting EVER of any media I’ve ever encountered. It is unintentionally a Tommy Wiseau movie. Look up “The Room” if you don’t understand that reference. When the actors aren’t over-acting, they’re under-acting, or are reacting as if an alien guessing how “humans” would respond to a situation and failing miserably. Maybe the editors are to blame for a portion but it is unacceptably bad. Best to do as I did and immediately pretend this is an old-school FF game and go subtitles only. Older FF games are much better in my humble opinion. If you, without irony, enjoy the “forced laugh” scene, I don’t like you at all as a person and I hope you don’t know about the patch and your game constantly crashes. In fact, I hope all of your games crash. You don’t know terrible dialogue when you see it and don’t deserve nice things.

Going back to FFX on Steamdeck has a great experience. The slightly OTT dramatic main storyline holds up well. Battle system is great with really challenging fight if you arent ready (I was ready this time Yunalesca ☠️). Blitzball is ace and the aeons design is some of the best in the series. Other mini games are infuriating but overall, this was a great trip down nostalgia lane. FFx2 though. Already a jarring tone shift from FFX, the revamped battle system is fun but it never felt like a great sequel. The Steam version though is flat out broken. I couldn't play more than an hour without crashing that was slowly getting worse the longer I played. I might try and power through it but replaying a broken version of a game I never loved doesn't fill me with encouragement. Some patches online seem to have mixed success but it's clearly a massive issue here. So definitely pick up for FFX but for the sequel...well if you must play it, stick to the PS2 version. And given this is a package deal, I can't recommend a game where only 50% of it works. Even if its the clearly superior half. A classic game. Beautiful visuals, surreal worldbuilding, and nostalgic I'm-not-holding-your-hand gameplay. I don't like the fact that there are hiccups in some of the controls in the Steam Deck, but that is all.
打了补丁之后ffx基本就没有闪退过了，体验还是很不错，音乐文本都很优秀，除了陆行鸟那两小游戏折磨了半宿，但是x-2的闪退根本解决不了，特别是战斗的时候最容易闪退，不过顶着闪退的debuff沉浸玩了半个月也是终于全成就了😋🎉接下来等下个月中的空轨2了嘿嘿嘿，都是寻夫历险记🤣

El juego peta constantemente, a veces hay pantallazos verdes, la imagen se queda congelada o los modelos de los personajes parpadean o se vuelven invisibles. Por ahí hay parches para que no pase, pero a mí no parecen funcionarme.
Fight scenes and fighter upgrade are my favorites.
I played this game for the first time when it came out in the early 2000's, Best story ever written second only to the Bible. If you don't mind slightly outdated graphics then I suggest this game. Only issue is it seems some of the FXX videos wont play properly, hopefully they fix that.
