FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster

This is a very sloppy port. I bought it for €10 and I still don't think it was worth it. I'm going to refund it because it was full of glitches from the very start. On some screens everything appeared in a uniform green color. I managed to get past that, watched a brief video involving "Sin" (some kind of enemy, I assume), and then the game froze completely. At this point I feel like some games are simply victims of time. Maybe we were supposed to play them back when they were current. Twenty-five years later, the original developers are long gone, the old technical knowledge has been lost, and somehow the game still doesn't work properly. It's a shame, because it means some older classics may become impossible for new players to experience. As for the game itself, the style felt strange and dated to me. I don't mind old graphics, but I do mind long unskippable cutscenes and unclear progression. I got stuck on the very first screen and had to watch a walkthrough just to continue. The game expected me to interact with NPCs that gave no indication they were important, and only after exhausting all dialogue would the story proceed. That felt very unintuitive. With so many technical and gameplay frustrations appearing right from the start, it looks like this game and I simply aren't going to get along. Perhaps others can read this review and be warned.

I really like final fantasy x, but both games is giving me unplayable state, crashes allot. green screens. Square Enix maybe time to fix it. So I can't recommend buying this in this untile it's fixed. Really sad to see. When I wanna replay final fantasy x-2. Steam deck is playabilty with proton 9 version

I once finished this game on my deck but when I tried replaying I am now suffering from constant stutter and screen tearing, nothing works to fix it. This goes for all Final Fantasy remasters. Its absolutely ridicule.

Its completely broken and unplayable. Do not buy this on steam, unless you wanna fight with files and download a 4gb patch from 5 years ago that does nothing. I LOVE BUYING BROKEN GAMES!!! If you can get it to fix, its ffx how it should be which depending on who you ask is either a great Final Fantasy game or an awful one, I really like this time period for FF because it really gives a nostalgic feel for when you might have played ff10. I played ff when I was 5 and I hated every minute of it, not because it was bad but because I was a literal baby. FF x has its moments and it in my opinion a good FF game. Way better then 8 in my opinion but I will say some of the minigames in this are downright evil in difficulty. Either that or im a big dummy

Very bad port only because the game constantly crashes. I've spent days scouring the Internet and it sounds like it doesn't play well with windows 11. The supposed fan-made mod to fix some of the issues doesn't fix the crashes I've been experiencing and square enix is most likely never going to fix it. FFX is mostly fine though I've had some frequent crashes in the endgame sequence. FFX-2 is unplayable because of crashes every 10 minutes. If you really want this game, get it on console

I love Final Fantasy X every since the PS2 era It's my fav game in the franchise! Using the Controller and keyboard works very good. Having the option for the Original or arranged music is very neat to have, same with japanese audio and text. But this PC port is unplayable, the cutscenes turned into green or black screens, the game speed toggle crashes the game, getting out of fullscreen will freeze the game. I been playing for an hour and I am still in the beginning of the game because of the crashes. I dont get why this old game has trouble running on my gaming laptop.

面白かったです！！ FFシリーズは9までしかプレイしたことがなく 「難しくないかな」「ちゃんとシステムが理解できるかな」 と不安でしたが、非常に楽しめました。 とりあえずFF10の難点を挙げれば ・ムービーの再生時にグリーンバックになるバグがあるらしく公式にて修正されていないため、プレイヤー自身が有志のパッチをゲームクライアントに当てる必要がある。 ・一部の最強武器や最強技を入手するのにミニゲームのクリアが必要で、中にはそのミニゲームの難易度が非常に高く諦める場面もあった。（なくてもゲームクリアは可能） といったところでしょうか。 総合的には非常に面白いし、戦闘システムもゆっくり考えられるので遊びやすいです！！
