Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Final Fantasy VII Remake looks incredible. Everything feels alive and packed with detail. I still remember watching Advent Children on TV as a kid, thinking to myself that gameplay could never look like that. We’re actually way past it. The characters look amazing, have a lot more depth in the remake, and the voice acting is really good. Combat is another huge plus — it’s fast and fluid, but the ATB-system keeps the base from the original. What bothered me a bit is the pacing. I don't mind spending extra hours in a game at all, but it often felt like I was just checking off generic side quests to pad out runtime. The story changes were a bit over the top, kind of giving off confusing Tetsuya Nomura/Kingdom Hearts vibes but the narrative still drew me in. All in all, the remake is a success. I really hope other games in the series get the same treatment down the road.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 37.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 46/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Highly recommend!
Hours aren't synced (100+ hours) but I definitely recommend this game to anyone who loves boss fights, deep character lore, and overall amazing gameplay. If your computer can handle it this game can get nearly life-like realistic. The character development across the whole game was wonderful too, with my favorite being
Sephiroth
and Cloud. I will say before playing you need to know two things: 1. Come in without knowing anything. The whole game is designed to slowly reveal the lore and when you find out its the best thing ever. 2. This is NOT the entire game. The series goes (without DLC) REMAKE (1st part), REBIRTH (2nd part), and at the time of this review, the soon awaited REVELATION (3rd part). This game may look like one of those nerdy fantasy games; this is exactly what it is. Be prepared to have a favorite character by the first 20 minutes, to get stressed out when having to retry the first boss fight 5 times, and to absolutely embrace the character brainrot. Its worth it, trust me 😎 So just kick back, play this on a Steam Deck or beefy PC with a controller, and enjoy the story Midgar offers. Sidenote: The Yuffie INTERmission is an optional playthrough DLC that expands the REMAKE story, by giving additional lore to the main story. If not enjoying it, don't stress about dropping it and moving to REBIRTH.

I have very fond memories of this game from when I was young, and this remake hits on so many levels... Be it the updated soundtrack or seeing such memorable scenes and locations in proper detail. This remake has been a long time coming, but it was definitely worth the wait.
There is so much wrong with this game, but I don't have the energy. Lets just say combat is ass, Square themselves created the solution that could have solved it 20 years ago, and the story is modern audience slop. Thankfully Square still has Team Asano cause their mainline teams are tanking their company.
