Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Same day: best BR #14, worst KR #74 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 37.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 46/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

コマンド要素があるアクションではなく、アクション要素があるコマンドバトルなんだと気付いてから戦闘が面白くなりました。 サイドストーリーの完成度がとても高いです。
Calling this a remake is insulting. It goes in nearly a completely different direction in story right away and gameplay. The first half of the game is actually pretty good but everything after is so slow, boring and completely ruins the pace of the game. All of the new gameplay sections range from mediocre to flat out awful. The combat system is so easy most things die without using any abilities. Anything that has a bit of HP you can just face tank if needed. The stagger system only really applies to bosses or mini bosses everything else will die before then. The game gives you a ton of Materia right away but you can barely equip any of it for the majority of the game. There are large sections where you'll only use certain characters which is fine but the end you'll be switching back and forth between parties. Since you'll likely be using the same Materia you just have to keep switching your equipment around. You should get a 5th party member but they just made them a guest. Tifa was nerfed but mods can restore that. The game falls apart once you reach Wall Market. Not only are the events different they aren't even good. It is so drawn out from that point on with pointless stuff the pace is horrible. What should be a simple task will be an hour plus of new gameplay sections that are not fun. Chapter 17 in particular is awful only followed up by the equally disappointing finale. I've never wanted a game to be over more than this one. There are some positives it's not all negative. I do really like how they made the different Sector towns larger and expanded on I don't even hate the first two side quest chapters since it gives more time with the characters (final one is trash tho) and does make sense in a way. Charlie Sheen, Wedge and Jessie have a lot more screen time to be actual characters. The graphics are excellent as is the Japanese voice acting. I replayed FF7 last year and it took 47 hours to beat the game doing nearly everything (glitched breeding). Took 36 hours to just get out of Midgar in the remake. I've heard the next game is even worse. I don't know how anyone could replay this on Hard for the achievements.
I hate this game. The 25% that's great is completely ruined by the 75% of it that is time wasting and boring filler. This is a 10 hour game that's been padded out to well over 40 hours with some of the most tedious and dull nonsense I've ever seen in a videogame. And the music! Oh my God the music! What is wrong with the person/people that did the score for this? My best guess is that they just directly ported the 1997 score into it and completely ignored all of the great strides in video game music that took place in the decades since. Some of the orchestral parts during cutscenes or boss fights are fine but the rest is hot garbage. For example: The song that plays after tens of thousands of people have just been killed (including several main characters) is an annoying, repetitive, and astoundingly out of place "jazz-funk" track. It's like they picked the worst possible thing they could play at that point on purpose. I felt irritated by it and any emotional build up that I'd had by then was ruined. Instead of pondering what the characters might be feeling or what this meant for the world I was left wondering what on earth I was listening to and what made them think that this was a good time for it. I never played this as a kid and so these aren't fun musical throwbacks to my childhood for me. It's just some of the worst music I've ever heard played at the most inappropriate times. My second major gripe is the pacing and how everything just drags on for way too long. Particularly the boss fight at (what I think/hope is) the end of the game on the highway. I just want it to be over. The bike part on the highway just before it already used up all of the patience I had and I'm bored of it. I'm not going to finish it. If it's not the end of the game then I sure hope that they catch me up at the start of the next one because otherwise whatever comes after this boss fight is going to be a total mystery to me. I just can't take any more. It's not a hard fight and I've got all the healing items I'll need to burn right through it but I just can't be bothered. It's so boring and long. Who's it for? Who likes this? Who wants to spend over half an hour recycling the same moves over and over to slowly chip away at a boss' health? It's mind numbing and infuriating how little respect these devs have for a player's time. I got this bundled with the second part on sale and if the second part is anything like this then I'm not going to rant and rave about it. It's just getting a four word review. Two of those words are Square Enix. I'm sure you can guess the others.
This could have been a cool reimagining of the original if it literally didn't take forever to do anything. Half of the time you're just waiting to crawl through a space or for a door to close and then your character just starts walking slowly because other characters are talking and apparently they can't run and talk even though nothing important is happening. It takes so looooooooooong and by chapter 12 I was already just so done with it. I'm trying to play a video game not a waiting for animations to finish simulator. Why is this a thing? It's not cinematic or realistic it's boring and a hindrance to any enjoyment of the story or gameplay
