This is my first time playing Final Fantsy 7 as I never played the original. This is a pretty fun game albeit with a few caveats. It does get boring and feels like it was dragged in some parts of the story, I imagine the original game did not have this problem. But overall its a good game, worth trying out on sale.
Pretty graphics, good optimization, nice characters, awesome voice acting (JP), awful and stupid combat system, no keyboard/mouse support and basically no plot. Music is great, but quite often have no sense for a scene. In the end it's just very overrated. Not great, not terrible.

После прохождения будто бы снова влюбился в видеоигры. Прошёл буквально за 4-5 долгих присеста,если не считать длс,и игра вообще не надоедала. Прекрасное повествование и сюжет,неплохая боёвка,хоть и донельзя простая. Графика прекрасная,однако задники здесь просто ужас. НО сильно затянуто,я до сих пор не понимаю,зачем нужно было растягивать ремейк на целых три игры. Ещё постоянно бесило,что под ноги лезут мелкие мобы и попросту не дают пройти дальше.

I would recommend this game. It's an excellent streamlined retelling of FF7 with good visuals and voice acting. I would argue that the music is some of the most horrific I've heard in a long while but that's highly subjective. However, there's one thing that ruins the entire experience and I wish a curse on those involved that they may ♥♥♥♥ their pants in public once a year as atonment for the sin that is the pull-up mini-game. I know I'm being unreasonable but as a completionist it brings nothing but rage and hate against the game to my heart, it's the worst mini-game I've EVER played and I've gaming a long time. It casts a dark shadow over an otherwise good experience and now I'm going to go and try not to throw my controller out the window.
