Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Epic, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
What a game, I don’t know how I’m supposed to move on. The FF7 player base seems to be easy to disappoint, and while the game isn’t perfect and deserves some criticism for sure, I think some of y’all will never be happy. The game is truly massive and has tons of side content, but the majority of it isn’t mandatory. A lot of side stuff was fun for me to complete, but the moment I noticed I was getting tired of side quests, I simply stopped doing them and focused on the main story. If you’re stuck on a minigame and instead of moving on, you’re torturing yourself by doing it for 5 hours straight until you’ve completely burned yourself out and hate everything, that’s a you problem. Maybe stop treating your hobby like a checklist. The problem isn’t the amount of content, it’s that some of the main story bits don’t add much to world-building or character relationships, it’s kinda just there. For example,
Shinra Mansion and Corel Prison parts
seem like a lost opportunity to me. There’s nothing interesting or meaningful about
doing a silly throwing boxes minigame or picking up greens for Piko
. Why not make it darker and give us an opportunity to see the disturbing reality of these places? Too much lightheartedness, and it loses its effect. However, when it’s good, it’s SO GOOD. Every character has so much personality, and the bond they share is beautiful. I was so happy to spend time with them and see them interact, the main cast feels like family at this point. The combat system is even better and more polished then in Remake, it might be one of my favourite combat systems of all time. I could never get tired of using the synergy skills and abilities, they’re so cool. The boss fights are top tier, a lot of them are a big step up from Remake in my opinion. I feel like the soundtrack is easily one of the best things about this game too, it’s so heartwarming to hear the new versions of old themes.
Jenova Lifeclinger’s
music went insanely hard, I could barely focus on the fight. And so did the
One-Winged Angel Reborn
theme. It was blasting in my headphones for 40 minutes straight cause the last phase of the fight took me 6ish attempts to get through, and aghh, it’s so grandiose, fitting the occasion. So if you’re considering playing Rebirth, don’t get too discouraged by certain reviews. As long as you are capable of deciding for yourself what’s worth completing and what’s not and being paitent with a huge adventure type game, you’ll be just fine.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Same day: best FR #11, worst KR #43 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 36.33/day in the week to Aug 4 → 40/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a banger. The open world design isn't the most interesting, but the actual side quests and minigames are great. Main story is a epic, combat is much deeper than Remake. Game performs great after getting the performance fix mod and shaders mod.
Not as godo as the first game, not as big fan of th eopen worls stuff, It' spointless and doesn't really help the story.

Overall: 8.5/10 Incredible spectacle, with bloat. The open world is massive, Queen's Blood is addictive, and the music and cutscenes are the best in the industry. As a fan of media like time travel and multiverse, I like the wild plot risks. However, the mandatory mini-games and long dungeons kill the story's momentum. If they had made this into a tight 30-hour campaign instead of a padded 50-hour one, it would be a 10/10. The optimization of the game is quite good as I got way less stutters on my 7 year old laptop. Tip: If you just want the story, ignore Chadley's open-world checklist. Turn on the 2x EXP in streamlined progression to skip the grind and streamline the main campaign.
