Featuring fully voiced dialogue, beautifully enhanced graphics, and countless gameplay improvements, the genre-defining tactical RPG makes its long-awaited return.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About

Ivalice—a kingdom blessed by the light of the gods and ruled by the Two-headed Lion. A year after her defeat to Ordallia in the Fifty Years' War, the king succumbed to malady, leaving a mere boy of two to ascend the throne.
Whoever was named regent would rule in truth, and thus emerged two rival candidates: dukes Goltanna and Larg, whose deeds during the war had earned them great renown. Goltanna the Black Lion and Larg the White Lion were destined to clash, and the resulting conflict would come to be known as the War of the Lions.
Against this backdrop appear Ramza, third son of House Beoulve, one of Ivalice's leading military families, and his childhood companion Delita, a commoner raised amongst nobles. As they endeavor to chart a course through this tumultuous age, a mighty current draws them ever closer to the abyss.

Lead your party in exhilarating encounters where strategic positioning and forward planning determine the outcome. Use the varied terrain of 3D battlefields to your advantage, skillfully manipulate the turn order, and victory will be yours for the taking.

Combine a wide variety of jobs and abilities to craft your very own strategies.
As your party members grow, they will gain access to more jobs, each with its own unique abilities. Once learned, abilities can be used even after changing to another job. With over 20 jobs to master—including white mage, black mage, dragoon, and many others from the FINAL FANTASY series—and hundreds of abilities to learn, you have the freedom to experiment and discover the combinations that best suit your party. Chocobos and other creatures can also be tamed and led into battle.

With improved graphics, fully voiced dialogue, and refined gameplay, the enhanced version provides the perfect way to immerse yourself in the world of Ivalice. Along with the fine-tuning of several features and battle mechanics, the inclusion of the more accessible "Squire" difficulty setting makes the enhanced version an excellent starting point for first-time players.
The classic version unites the graphics and gameplay of the original 1997 version with the renowned War of the Lions translation for a unique way to experience this beloved title.
The Enhanced version of the game supports a wide variety of controller options.
It also supports keyboard and mouse controls.
The Classic version of the game only supports XInput controllers.
Keyboard controls are also supported, but mouse controls are not supported.
Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Reviews
Best version of this game by far.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best FR #78, worst JP #95 · 9 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.67/day in the week to Aug 5 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Truly a masterpiece!
pure art
good old game
nostálgico e sem igual no gênero
There have been many attempts to imitate, whether in part or fully but none have come close to recapturing the feel of Final Fantasy Tactics. I have completed the original PS1 release and to see it get remastered for a new audience with many QoL improvements is such a pleasure. 30 years on, the gameplay still holds up incredibly well, the jobs are well balanced (but you can still create game breaking combinations). The soundtrack is as phenomenal today as it was before, one of the best soundtracks to any game I have played. The plot stands the test of time, a story of betrayal, heroism and demons on top. It is hard to stop singing the original's praises which you can still play in this release, a great addition to the package, but I want to move to the things that make Ivalice Chronicles a great game: 1) Upscaled sprites and art look great, at no point did I feel I'm playing a game designed so long ago 2) The writing is much sharper than I remember, I know it has received some touch ups and it is now more coherent whereas the original had some issues with the translation. 3) I can't stress just how good the English voice acting is, initially I was unimpressed and felt it was flat but over time I revisited my opinion and now feel it is delivered naturally without the exaggeration we normally expect from some games. 4) Smaller changes like increasing the roster size and making Cloud more useful are welcome small additions among many. Nothing is ever perfect though and there is one aspect of the game which fans have found disappointing. Ivalice Chronicles does not include content added in the PSP release of War of the Lions. This includes some jobs and special characters. It has been said those additions were made without the original creator's blessing and are not in keeping with the overall theme of the game. That being said while Ivalice Chronicles is probably the best way to experience FFT, it isn't the complete version and there is no definitive version with all content. Hopefully the WotL content can be released later, even as DLC. In conclusion, this is a legendary game brought back for a new generation to enjoy. Still deservedly one of the top game in any tactical RPG discussion and now with a fresh coat of paint and add-ons. This gets a 9.5/10 only for the missing WotL content but it really is perfect in every other way.

I remember loving this game on the PS1. I still love it! The job system for leveling is great. The stat reset at the end of an encounter is great! I'm sinking a ton of hours into this game, and I'm still, years later, loving it!
