Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've played a few different versions of Final Fantasy IV: The North American SNES release, the PSP release and the Pixel Remaster, so I thought I'd might as well try this 3D Remake thing out. The story is still good. There's a bit of pretty decent voice acting, too. Combat and strategy is similar to the original, though some boss fights seem to be harder. In general, the difficulty seems to be amped up compared to the Pixel Remaster, which I do appreciate. I have a bunch of issues with the games presentation and interface, though. The camera is zoomed in a bit too much, making the screen feel crammed, menus are really big and feel clumsy, and there's this wacky delay when you're navigating the menus. It get's even worse in battle which is a real shame, since fast menuing is kinda the thing that makes the ATB-system work for me. Still, it works well enough. And even though I didn't really care too much for the art style and character designs initially, this port does have a certain charm about it that won me over. I think it would be a way more enjoyable experience on a handheld device, at least graphically. Even then, I'd probably rather play the Pixel Remaster, but I had a good time with this nonetheless.
Not done yet, but the game is great! Coming straight from having played ff3 3D remake, this game introduced so many QoL changes that make the experience so much more enjoyable. I've had mild issues with lag/frame drops, not entirely sure why.
Well, i have pretty mixed feelings about this ff part. My first Final Fantasy was the 3rd one (3d remake) and it's my favourite part of the franchise not because it was the first one i played but because it was fun and enjoyable. Can i describe Final Fantasy 4 the same way? Hard to say. There were moments of joy, moments of sadness, which could genuinly make you cry... And moments of rage. I love and hate this ff part at the same time. Everything in this game brings joy except dungeons and encounters. I know it's strange to hear complaints about random encounters in ff from a person who already played ff once, but for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake, ff3 wasn't that bad! Every dungeon erased my points of love for this game with each floor or room i had to clear. What pissed me off the most are the dungeons with 20 or 10+ rooms with overpowered enemies in the second half of the game. I know that it's solvable with grinding, but i wanted to play the game, not to grind. In the end, when i finally passed all 20 floors of the final dungeon AVOIDING (grave mistake) every encounter and started the final bossfight i understood something. I'm underleveled. So i started 100% each of 20 floors in search of gear and fought in every encounter i could. In the end i finally beat Zeromus on first try (not counting all the previous underleveled tries). And again i started to love this game. I love it. I love the story. I love the moral. I love the characther development. I love the music. I love everything in this game except dungeons and random encounters. If you're ok with grinding, then i recommend this game. If you're not ok with grinding, i still recommend this game. The number of good sides just overpowers the number of bad ones, so imo Final Fantasy 4 is still a pretty good game and worth playing.
It's a fun remake to play though and I like the view angle for navigation, although the 3D graphics is somewhat dated by today's standards.
The Final Fantasy that kicked my ass and made me like it. This is up there with FF7 for me
