Felt Tip Circus

Interesting and different. Not a bad game at all. One of the best carnival games for the VR. Easy controls and a different concept make all the difference here. Would give it an 8/10.

This game is just crude, some of the mini games are fun, but not all of them. I like the visual style though, and that lone was worth playing when I got this one in a game bundle. 5/10

In this game you can become a VR circus performer. The game is unique and quirky in it’s design, all the details have been considered, with even the addition of a little apartment area. The sound effects and music are perfect and pleasing, immersing you in your circus performance to an audience of felt tip characters who have the ability to boo and cheer, based on your gameplay skill/their entertainment level which is kept track of via a scoreboard and metre. The pressure is on. There are four different acts to perform, with three different difficultly levels for each act, so there is something on offer for both VR noobs and Veterans alike! These mini games are difficult enough that the game has enough replay value. Additionally, there is a multiplayer option for you to play with friends, and the unique ability to create and add your own acts and mods via Steam. The only improvements I could suggest would be to offer an online multiplayer mode so that everyone can experience the multiplayer option. A few minigames that weren't really much fun. Hardly worth the price being asked.

Really nice game and absolutely worth the price of admission. Loved the ambiance and all the little details (the appartement at the start of the game is so comfy that I would love to be able to just sit and relax on the couch while I hear the rain falling outside). I found some of the minigames really challenging and the whole concept charming, so I would recommend it to anyone planning to make a VR party with friends or family.

Maybe this would be fun for kids, but there's just not much too it other than a few mini games. The controls aren't that intuitive and it didn't keep my interest for more than a few minutes. You can also lose important objects in the game that make some of the mini games unplayable without restarting them. The art style is kind of cute and unique, which adds a certain charm to the game, but at it's current stage I can't really recommed it. Maybe if it was a free demo for a more developed game, but as a full product I can't justify it.

Внешне очень славная. Сам дизайн, персонажи, настроение грубого ярмарочного развлечения, плюс музычка и звуки. Что-то не получилось - то надо было выйти за игровое пространство, то падала сразу с платформы без какой-либо явной причины, то работала одна стадия из 3-х. пока не перезагрузишь. Поскольку купила с большой скидкой, ругать ее не буду - все же удовольствие есть. Но, объективно, рекомендовать не могу. К сожалению, она видимо устарела. И есть по крайней мере одна бесплатная с той же темой.

[u]I played this on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers.[/u] I had zero issues. The only odd thing was using trigger to grab items versus the grab button, but I've seen this mapping in other games. Despite the game description, I think you do need a bit more than standing room to play this game. I recommend a 3 sensor setup, roomscale setup. However, even a small playing space should work fine. There's not much content in this game unfortunately (4 mini-games). It's a lovely game otherwise. Very nice, charming atmosphere. Even the menus are pretty cool. You start out in a living room where you can change some game options. From there you open the door to backstage of your circus performance. You then choose which 3 acts to do and at what difficulty. Each of the acts are pretty fun to "perform" in front of your stick figure circus audience in the big top. There's just not much to do (I recommend starting easy, then normal, then hard just to prolong the content). Each act is completed very quickly. I finished a complete playthrough in under 10 minutes. And I was going slow and taking in all the visuals and options. Honestly, this should originally have been priced at $4.99 and then be on sale for like half off. Then I could give it the high marks it deserves for its inventiveness. Still, I do recommend this game. Especially if you have friends or family to share this experience with. Rate 6/10 (great, but too little content) p.s. So anybody doing a steam workshop for this? Please?
