I have played white lavender sokpop's newest souls-like and it was great but then i tried this and it wasn't great i know its one of their older games but the combat is clunky unfair damage scaling and the map is a damn maze there is also no lock on making combat really stupid all weapons attack slow and when you try to hit half the time you weapon doesn't even go their direction
The best and most charming soulslike i have ever played.

sok-souls again i like this one more than a normal souls-like because of the top down souls-like combat
Bird Souls
Otimo
mid at best, imo the worst out of the soulslikes bundle
Can't recommend this. The game is just annoying; combat feels tedious. Exploration is bland. Power progression is slow and basic. Controls for the gamepad aren't fully there (good luck navigating the inventory).
It's hard to find a positive quality about this game
Featherfall is a short Souls-like where birds smack each other with swords. It's a bit gritty and atmospheric, but the artstyle is still mostly cute. You can dodge, block attacks with your shield, and attack with your own weapon. Doing any of those things consumes stamina. You can heal by consuming aliments, and level up by consuming astral worms, which are mostly found lying around as treasure. Leveling up increases one of your HP, stamina, defense, strength, dexterity or magic. The latter three behave as attack stats, with each weapon's damage scaling differently on either of them. There are a few shields, some with better cover but hindering your dodge, some lighter but smaller. There's about a dozen weapons in the game, which differ by their attack pattern, speed, and scalings - each has a light attack combo, a charged attack, and a running attack. With few technicalities, there are no ranged weapons or spells in this game, your weapons are all you have. There's a dozen bosses that are pretty good. It's a challenging game, which reguires you to play defensively and not waste your stat and weapon upgrades. Because of its short length (about 2 hours to complete on a first run) and comparatively simple fighting/character building system, you could say it's baby's first Souls game.
