About
Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG.
While Fatekeeper follows a focused narrative path, the world invites exploration. From ancient battlegrounds, vast underground caverns and serene forests to crumbling sanctuaries forgotten by time, each area rewards curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters.
Battle a wide variety of foes, each with distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses. Success demands both skill and preparation. Engage in reactive melee combat, unleash spells with precision, and adapt your tactics on the fly. Your build matters—but so does how you wield it.
Fatekeeper offers rich progression mechanics that go far beyond surface-level stats. Build and refine your character with meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and spell schools. Whether you lean into raw strength, nimble precision, or devastating sorcery, the game supports a wide range of viable and unique builds.
Discover, loot, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and artifacts. Customize your loadout to suit your playstyle, and experiment with powerful combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. Every item matters—and the right gear can be the difference between victory and ruin.

I really really want to like this game. It's beautiful and feels great until my input is completely ignored and I get micro-stutters right before dodging an arrow or poison bomb. Considering it's EA and only $10 you can take the gamble like I did. I'm sure it will get better but I'm not going to return until the gameplay and performance improves enough to make it a stable experience. But they're already talking about rebalancing and new content. Okay that's cool but stutters on a Ryzen7 + 4060ti and 32G memory is just... I can't. It's not fun to die to stutters and missed input. (And no, I'm not talking about combos, I can perform them just fine when the input works. I'm talking about no other input happening whatsoever and my dodge click or first attack click does nothing with full stamina, its dysfunctional and tied to the stuttering)

I saw this game and immediately had to try it, being a fan of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic from back in the day. I was craving a modern fix for this type of game, and Fatekeeper mostly delivers. It's early access and at the time of writing this review I can say that the game is fun. I understand the game isn't fully cooked, but I really can't complain too much because it was only $10, but here's my only negatives: Performance is pretty rough. I play a lot of games on this humble PC, but this is the first game that made me drop my resolution. I don't mind lowering settings with my 8gb of VRAM and playing in 1440p, most times it's a necessity, but here, the biggest fps killer is lighting.. And boy does this game look ugly and completely change the way the game looks when you turn down the settings. Shadows and lighting is so glitched on Medium or Low.. You have to play high or the game looks like it was made 10 years ago. Next movement feels like you're oiled in grease. When you take the armor off the main character, you can see he's massive in a tank kind of way, but he definitely possesses some sort of athleticism. Yet, running around feels very odd. It doesn't have a good feel to it. Lastly the combat. The combat is fairly simple. Not bad, not amazing. My gripe is characters who fight you ranged. Their aim is too great, and there's really no way to deal with them. I'd like to fire back! Yes you have spells that can be upgraded, but you won't get them in this early access game. Please note, while I do have 12 hours in this game, maybe 6 of those came from tinkering and trying to find the right settings to make my game run at least 60 fps, and not look like a potato. Ultimately the game is pretty fun, and I feel like I got my money's worth. I look forward to seeing where the game goes as time progresses. As long as the game is this cheap, it's an easy buy. Even with it's shortcomings.
Yes! The first three hours are a succes. It's the perfect formula for me: Oldskool gaming. Straight forward. Just try to get from A to B. No real cutscenes. More quality, less quantity. And beautiful area's shining on the U5 engine. Breathtaking environment running pretty smooth already on ultra settings on a RTX3080. Nice one.
The game is fun. Not sure how fully fledged out its gonna get, but its simple and I got a talking rat.
IT LOOKS GREAT BUT WAY TO HARD IN THE FIGHTS. IF YOU COULD SAVE THE GAME MORE OFTEN, IT WOULD BE A GOOD GAME , I HOPE THEY PATCH THAT FEATURE IN, IF THEY DONT, THEY WILL LOSS MONEY.
Fun gameplay with amazing graphics, not for casual players, overly hard bosses
This game has major potential to be a genre milestone. As-is, here is the good and bad: Good: -The graphics are incredible. Really S-tier. Performance is good to very good on high settings on my machine. Lower-end machines may struggle, though. -Very cool fantasy-realism aesthetic without trying to reinvent the wheel. They take well-loved dark fantasy tropes and do it well. Think R-rated LotR. Thematically it borrows heavily from Dark Souls and LotR. -Combat is good enough at this point. I'm sure they will refine it over time, but it's more of a brutal physics-based hack n slash combat, with basic combat spells. Needs work: -HUGE mistake releasing this without controller support. A first-person slasher works best with a controller, and I think most players of this genre prefer controllers. Currently you can do a workaround with Steam Overlays, but it's not perfect, and only slightly less annoying than using a mouse and keyboard. This should be priority number one for the next update. -I'd like to see combat more crisp, with a targeting feature. Add difficulty levels for those people who need everything to be hard. -I'd like to see a character customization/class build menu when you start a new game. That's probably coming, I imagine. -Right now it's not clear at all where you are supposed to go to progress through the world; there's a lot of wandering around. Some sort of a navigation feature or path spell would be nice. Overall this SHOULD shape up to be a landmark game, if they listen to players and dont let it languish in early access for years.
literally unplayable
SI przeciwników woła o pomstę do nieba – łucznicy, zamiast podążać za graczem, stoją w miejscu i bez przerwy strzelają niczym z karabinu maszynowego.
