About
Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG.
While Fatekeeper follows a focused narrative path, the world invites exploration. From ancient battlegrounds, vast underground caverns and serene forests to crumbling sanctuaries forgotten by time, each area rewards curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters.
Battle a wide variety of foes, each with distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses. Success demands both skill and preparation. Engage in reactive melee combat, unleash spells with precision, and adapt your tactics on the fly. Your build matters—but so does how you wield it.
Fatekeeper offers rich progression mechanics that go far beyond surface-level stats. Build and refine your character with meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and spell schools. Whether you lean into raw strength, nimble precision, or devastating sorcery, the game supports a wide range of viable and unique builds.
Discover, loot, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and artifacts. Customize your loadout to suit your playstyle, and experiment with powerful combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. Every item matters—and the right gear can be the difference between victory and ruin.

The game is fun. Not sure how fully fledged out its gonna get, but its simple and I got a talking rat.
I really really want to like this game. It's beautiful and feels great until my input is completely ignored and I get micro-stutters right before dodging an arrow or poison bomb. Considering it's EA and only $10 you can take the gamble like I did. I'm sure it will get better but I'm not going to return until the gameplay and performance improves enough to make it a stable experience. But they're already talking about rebalancing and new content. Okay that's cool but stutters on a Ryzen7 + 4060ti and 32G memory is just... I can't. It's not fun to die to stutters and missed input. (And no, I'm not talking about combos, I can perform them just fine when the input works. I'm talking about no other input happening whatsoever and my dodge click or first attack click does nothing with full stamina, its dysfunctional and tied to the stuttering)

Nice visuals, atmospheric, and interesting level design. Fighting is a bit clunky, but like the spell effects and weapon/armour design. The soundtrack doesn't seem to go with the feel of the game - but maybe that's just me. Would like to be able to interact with more things for telekinesis, and some of the areas seem a bit empty. I enjoy that it doesn't push you too hard to run through the areas, and glad there aren't too many bosses - I like to explore. I think this game could be amazing in the final release.
literally unplayable
This game is super fun! I love the combat in the game, the visuals are insane, and for the price, I think this game is worth much more but thank you for letting me enjoy such a great game at such an amazing price. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know. I know people always find things to complain about but I had no complaint about anything. Keep doing what you are doing, the work is AMAZING!
Yes! The first three hours are a succes. It's the perfect formula for me: Oldskool gaming. Straight forward. Just try to get from A to B. No real cutscenes. More quality, less quantity. And beautiful area's shining on the U5 engine. Breathtaking environment running pretty smooth already on ultra settings on a RTX3080. Nice one.
For a $10 Early Access title, this game is amazing. Since it's so early in development, there are some things that are lacking, but if the devs continue to try to improve on what they have going on, I see a lot of potential with this game and I can't wait to see what else they can cook up. Let's start with the positives: - The immersion is so captivating. I love this dark fantasy-esque art direction and all the elements of the graphics come together to make an immersive experience. The environments feel lived in and are incredible detailed. I feel a part of the world and I can't wait to explore and hopefully see more varied environments in the future. The weapons and armors have amazing detail. Small details like using your fire magic to light your torch and then your wind magic to put it out is really cool. - The gameplay shows a lot of promise. What they have so far feels solid; it feels weighty and intuitive albeit a little clunky. The physics interactions add some depth into the game and allow for creative thinking. When you lock into the combat, it can feel very rewarding. However, sometimes the amount of enemies can be overwhelming, especially when you have 3 dudes chasing you and then 2 archers shooting at you, it would be nice if enemies took turns attacking you. I would understand if the devs prefer the challenge of this and perhaps this will be more manageable once you become stronger. Here's some things I think could use some work so far, nothing bad but just my take on some things: - Skill progression. The skill tree is really overwhelming and filled with so many minor nodes which: a) make it harder to experiment/branch out because you have to invest so many points towards one skill (magic, melee, alchemy) b) the minor nodes feel so inconsequential by themselves (+5% melee damage). I would rather reduce the rate of leveling up if that means fewer, but more substantial skill point investments and actual skills that change gameplay. I noticed there are some skills like that, but I was unable to invest that much into the skill tree this early in development. - The audio design could use some work, obviously I know this is WIP. I think audio is a huge element in immersion that can be sometimes overlooked or underprioritized. Certain audio cues like kill animations aren't yet implemented which takes me out of the game sometime. Other immersive elements like reverb in certain environments or enemy attacks would help too. - More/better physics interactions. Like I said earlier, the physics interactions adds some depth but I think they could definitely be improved on. First off, a lot of the breakable objects break too easily like they're made of paper mache; walking over a dead enemy shouldn't launch him 20 ft away or grazing a scaffolding shouldn't cause it to instantly collapse. It would be nice if the destruction was more modular too, rather than everything just crumbling together. More varied physics interactions would be nice too, like maybe ice causing enemies to slip or being able to pick up objects and throw them at enemies. - Speaking of physics interactions, it would be cool to see different puzzles/physics/platforming interactions in the level. As of right now, areas exist just so you can move through them to the next combat engagement and the puzzles are very one note (find lever, use telekinesis on it to open a gate). One physics puzzle that comes into mind is that brief section early in Half Life 2 where you are escaping the city in the sewers and have to move bricks onto a plank as a seesaw to elevate yourself to get to the next area. I think things like that would greatly enhance moment-to-moment gameplay and give the game some more depth and engagement rather than just moving through environments and killing enemies. Overall, super solid game for such a small crew of devs. Obviously the devs are still cooking so there's a lot of things that will change, but if you're on the fence, it doesn't get much better than this for $10!
The game shows a lot of promise, but performance needs a massive overhaul before release. Pulling 43 fps in the main menu is demonic.
Just finished, it's fun. Game is gorgeous, probably spent a good 15 minutes just getting caught up in the visuals and staring off into the skyboxes. Not too difficult, and a little short, but it has the bones of a fantastic game given some fleshing out. The skill tree is pretty neat though I wish you could branch a little in different directions. There are 4 nodes that take your progression in different directions, but you can only select one of those 4 nodes. If you want any of the benefits of that side of the circle after that you have to wrap around in your skill tree, which can make some basic upgrades like larger health pools or greater melee damage inaccessible if you go the wrong direction to start. Maybe some kind of rarer drop that lets you take another of the 4 primary nodes would be nice. Anyhow, cool game, definitely recommend.
very good i loved everything i have seen cant wait for more
