You can pet a cougar named Peaches, find a bestie in Cheeseburger the grizzly, FISH, kill, wear a stupid outfit, and everyone is redneck af. GOLD!

fun gunplay and above average story. I found it enjoyable. it's cryptic at times but never really nonsensical. if you lean into some of the silliness rather than avoid it, it's a better time. solid 7/10

The gameplay is friggin' awesome. The gunfights and shooting are spectacularly done, and I love how much freedom you get with vehicles so early on, no late game requirements or whatnot. I also love how you can have NPCs assist you at almost all times (save for few parts of the story). They're pretty useful too, they actually get loads of kills and they can even drive your vehicles for you. However, my one nitpick is the ending(s). If you don't do the secret ending which involves you basically not playing the game, the two other endings are a bit of a shame. They're not too poorly done, but it had me pretty upset since the ending felt a little BS. Still, I'd highly recommend the game to almost anyone since the gameplay and rest of the story is very fun.
