Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon

ну я б не сказал что игра вау но заспидрнить за пару часов можно. не думаю что побочные мисии там интересные но сюжет прикольный но банальный но типо как все в комиксе.

Pretty fun but not that long. I played for 7 hours and I %100 the game. All missions, all side content. Keep in mind that you practically are required to do side content, most weapon attachments are locked behind side missions. Another thing is stealth, almost impossible unless you use the bow. The only silenced weapon is a 3-shot pistol that doesn't insta-kill even with headshots. Pretty fun for a day off.

I’d like to quickly clarify at the beginning why I’m writing a review with such a low playtime. I already finished the game once a long time ago but back then I owned it on Ubisoft. Now I bought it again on Steam mainly because of the achievements so that it actually feels meaningful to fully complete it and I was able to continue my old save so I didn’t have to replay the entire game. I only had to collect the remaining collectibles finish a few side missions and out of the 25 dragons I only had 11 left to kill but since there is a method to farm them that was done pretty quickly as well. Now that the formalities are out of the way let’s talk about the game itself. I’ll start by saying that yes this is basically another Far Cry 3 just like Far Cry 4 and some of the others since it follows the same formula and even many of the sounds are the same so it often feels more like a short but very entertaining DLC rather than a completely standalone game. Despite that it is still very fun to play and I think the reason for that is the overall atmosphere which is simply fantastic. It perfectly captures the feeling of the 1980s with the music the visual style the comic style cutscenes and the whole gameplay. Even though you can absolutely play stealthy and the game fully allows it and I usually prefer stealth in games here the pacing and the reload animations make it feel like the game really wants you to go in like an action hero shoot everyone and throw out a cool one liner between two kills. I loved the character’s one liners like and this is my left hand or peekaboo I killed you they are just great and the fact that he even flips off enemies with his mechanical arm makes it even better. The story is not very long and like I said it really feels like a DLC but it still became a standalone game which I honestly don’t mind at all especially when you can buy it for around 3 euros during a sale on Steam. If someone wants a fast paced cool nostalgic short but very entertaining game and hasn’t played it yet then this is basically a must play. Anyone who liked Far Cry 3 will most likely enjoy this as well. When it comes to achievements thankfully this game comes from an era where developers didn’t force unnecessary multiplayer into everything so you can unlock everything without weird tricks or complicated requirements and there aren’t too many achievements either. Personally I mainly bought the game again on another platform because of the achievements but I should add that I only go for 100 percent completion in games that I actually like and this game absolutely deserves it and will be a nice addition to my Steam perfectionist showcase.
