FANTASIAN Neo Dimension

A handful of hours into the game now and after a fairly slow start it does pick up. Story is somewhat predictable but has a charm and a bunch of pop culture references hidden away for those who look for them. Standard difficulty is very well tuned. If you enjoy a traditional turn based JRPG, this one is rock solid.

Real models in games are cool, not enough cutscenes, not enough like Final Fantasy, 8/10

This is a very old school experience. It has the feel of mid 1990's era JRPGs, which does include some of the rough edges those older games have. The first half of the game feels a bit on rails, and the boss battles can stack up quickly. This shouldn't be much an issue as far as levels go as this game is designed to discourage grinding. If you are having trouble, it is likely a mechanic you aren't exploiting, or a strategy you need to change. It would be rare to just simply be under leveled if you are progressing through the story at a normal pace. This can be frustrating if your go to solution tends to be to grind until nothing can stand up to your party, but you won't be able to do that here. If you like that kind of experience, this game is for you. If you like a more modern, action oriented type game, perhaps look elsewhere. Overall, I found this one to be a great game for me.

Brutal, homenaje a los mejores Final Fantasy por turnos. Para mi es el que en su dia tendria que haber seguido con la saga, para mi este si que es el Final Fantasy XI

While the characters and story have not blown me away, they're charming enough--as is the diorama aesthetic--to keep me playing. The combat with it's dragging/arcing to hit as many targets as possible is satisfying.

it is good old FF type game i was waiting for

Una de las cosas que más me molesta en el gaming en general son los difficult spikes. Este juego no es lo suficientemente bueno en cuanto a historia, personajes, mundo, sidequest, y gameplay como para que amerite todo lo que implica prepararse para los ridículamente difícil que son los bosses a partir de la segunda parte. Este es el vivo ejemplo de que no todos tienen talento para hacer un juego con un avance no lineal. Si hubiese mantenido la relativa linealidad que tiene la primera parte, mi opinión sería otra.
