+ nette Wimmelbilder-Rätsel mit viel Abwechslung - Leider mehrere Ungenauigkeiten bei der Übersetzung! - Logik-Fehler des Todes, die eine interessante Geschichte zerstören: wo kommt das riesige Schild her, warum bringt er im Bonus-Kapitel alle am Anfang um, nur dich nicht, war der Instant-Kill auf 4 Leute begrenzt? Warum greift dich der Unbekannte überhaupt an? Letztere Frage würde die gesamte Story eigentlich unnötig machen...

Some very easy puzzles and some trickier ones too. The Terminator/Tron storyline is a bit unusual for this type of game, and is a bit clunky at times, otherwise it's a good game.

Very fun game to play! I had expected it to be another detective game like Family Mysteries 1, but this was a completely different story, focused on Sci-Fi puzzles and technology. A bit of time travel too! I really enjoyed the unique HOPs and minigames that were unlike any other HOP game I've bought. The main storyline + all achievements were completed within 5 hours, so its a well paced game.

French translations are a mess; I spent too much time searching for the wrong things.

This is a still a passable HOG game although it's quite a step down from the last one. The sci fi story is very basic, and relies on some very well known cliches. There's also a lot of language errors in the english version. However, the puzzles are still for the most part, pretty fun to do and that's the point of this sort of game. So I'll give it a pass.

Family Mysteries: Echoes of Tomorrow is second game of the series. Plot is simple, like the first one. Following a story of Leitan Keyes (you), a famous inventor who is on a edge of a big scientific discovery until at their anniversary with his wife the plot gets a twist. Their whole world takes a big turn. Time traveler with unknown mysterious technology appears and seems to turn your wife against you. You are set to investigate what this is all about and solve mystery of the time traveler, his identity and technology, solving puzzles and hidden object scenes. You have your typical map, fighting scenes, point & click style of play, diary where you collect all your story notes with clues and typical puzzles. Puzzles in my opinion are mediocre, not too hard or easy at least for me and therefore i enjoyed them. Some of the games this type, the hidden objects scenes might be confusing sometimes. Might be hard time seeing the objects, because poor graphics or even wrong names for the objects and as a non native in English some words might mean multiple different things and you don't know all the meanings - this game didn't have those in my opinion which made the HOGs enjoyable and better than some of the others. Plot wise this wasn't better than Enigmatis series, but still good. I liked this one better than the Family Mysteries: Poisonous promises, art work and sound ambience is decent, better than in some of the HOG games. I like that there is difficulty levels you can choose from, extra chapter after completing and that for a player like me who likes to complete the games the achievements are doable in one game play. Noting that they are also easily missed if you aren't careful and there's no way to get them if you missed one other than starting the story from beginning. Game itself was fairly short, somewhere around 5 hours is average. That being said i would recommend this game to others who have played games like these or to a new player, but only if it's on sale. 14,79€ (16,25 USD) is too much in my opinion, since you probably only play this once and it's not that long either. I see the resemblance with other Artifex Mundi games and they rarely disapoint me so much that i would leave a negative review. So if you have liked other games from this publisher, you probably going to like this one too and get good amount of entertainment to pass the time. É melhor que o primeiro, no sentido de ter mais cenas para jogar simultaneamente. O resto é normal, puzzles legais, história ok.
