Time Mysteries 2: The Ancient Spectres

Mhhhhhhhhhhh........ MUCH better than the first one, but...! [h3]IT'S STILL not a beginner friendly game!!![/h3] Once again... Mini-games... Have no damn explanations!!!!!! And once again once again... Only reason I know how to do 90% of these puzzles -> IS because I played a huge amount of H.O.Gs! Then again... I came across a puzzle in the Bonus Game and... I had no clue how to solve it!!! What the hell man? Did you seriously think no one would play the Bonus game story?! Why'd you make an Achievement for it then...? And you got really lazy game play for the Bonus game itself. Reeeeeealllllyyy lazy... I can super tell. The game is showing its age, but its playable. Character's mouths move rather odd and I can't look at 'em. Story is... Ehh. IT DOES NOT continue the first story/character. This one is different. The Time Travel device + changes reflected in past/present were cool. Thank goodness the teleport scene has a Skip button!! Otherwise that's all you'd see inside your mind as you close your eyes. The game tried to make exploration the forefront and then... It became one H.O. scene after another. It's okay with me... However when you already gave me something far more interesting to do first and THEN hit me with a barrage of same stuff over and over again? ......... Come on!! Bonus game is short and *shrugs* OKAY?! It was... Pointless. Unless you want the Achievement. I slept through everything (except the beginning) and not in a good way. Mini games weren't hard at all and then suddenly got too hard. Tsk tsk. What is one to do? Enjoy something else instead? Yeah. Let's go with that.

Though this game is leagues better than the first Time Mysteries, I still would not recommend this. It is completely confounding. The plot idea of traveling through time is fun but it's poorly executed. You are aimlessly wandering between timelines without clear guidance or reason to go there. You're expected to collect random items with, again, no clear purpose. Here, collect these rings and lanterns but we aren't going to explain why in the first place. You're expected to gather the answers before being presented with the questions. Which is super frustrating and leaves you feeling unsure of what you are doing. The hidden objects aspect is very challenging but it's an improvement to the first.

A good Artifex Mundi hidden object game.

A better game than the first part but barely. First of all, my recommendation is to not play the game in expert mode. There are a lot of HO scenes that are repeats, constantly. Expert mode will not show them at all, and since they are enabled with internal triggers, it makes combing every screen a chore. The plot involves time travel across 2 different locations, one small and one big. Solving some puzzles in the past sometimes affect the future which is fun and fresh in this genre. For the most part, the puzzles are ok. It's the HO scenes as usual that are not the best ones. Since the things you have to search are shuffled and selected randomly, you can sometimes get very hard challenges in the first ones, and easier items in the repeats. The plot ends abruptly, presumably to be followed in the next game. There's also the classical bonus game after beating the main story that acts as a prequel and explanation to some events of the main plot. As always, get these games on discount if you've run out of HOs.

My patience ran out on this one. Don't buy the game!

Don't play this game if you don't hate yourself enough. 70% of my time is spent on Hidden Object and I'm glad they have moved onto newer mechanics in their later games.

时间之谜三部曲的第二部 点击解谜游戏，含大量一张图片寻找一堆物品的寻物谜题，和一些小游戏谜题。 可以选择“普通”模式和“专家”模式，主要区别是提示的刷新速度，场景的发光提示等，普通模式并不影响成就的获取。 前情提要，时间之谜1的剧情大概是女主的父亲被抓走了，其实她整个家族都是时间旅行者可以用戒指穿梭时间，结局是抓走父亲的小伙子也是为了拯救世界她家族的帮助，是个误会，然后就没了...另外没玩过1好像也无所谓... 教程第一个谜题会让你点提示，会影响成就获取TAT，但是可以跳过教程 寻物谜题选择切换小游戏也不能达成成就！ 这个游戏的汉化挺精准的 应该说是少有的不是一眼机翻 感动，终于请翻译了！ 3-4个谜题之后得到一个时间机器可以快速旅行（传送） 普通模式寻物谜题按错没有惩罚，懒得玩寻物谜题的话可以在得到“完美瞄准：少于4次失误完成寻物谜题”后一通乱点，大概率还可以顺手完成“快速搜查：3秒找3个”和“鹰眼：1分钟完成寻物”（其实找物品小游戏在翻译正确的时候也挺好玩的...） 个别搜集物品的判定有点迷，确定的话多点几次... 配音的女声英语发音真的精准又好听，有一种英语课文磁带的感觉，学渣竟然听得懂！！ ——24.09.10 太过依赖时间机器的传送，时间机器坏掉之后找了半天想不起来去橡树厅的路（地下室） 知道梅林为什么这么长寿吗？《时间之谜1》中梅林在水晶球了几百年，《时间之谜2》梅林变成一个橡树几百年... 附加章节的的翻译...鸡=小鸟，豆子=豆角... 有个寻物是软盘，是之前只能存几十k的那种3.5寸软盘，感觉可能很多人都不认识了... 附加章节最后修女的口型很奇怪，有种要变异的感觉，是不是哪里不对？？？

I loved the aspect of going to different time periods in the same house. Sadly, something is wrong with the hint functionality, it's giving the wrong hints.

The travelling concept is awesome, a nice variety of hidden objects and puzzles. However, the quality of the hidden objects is terrible. The colours are badly blended and at one point an object was behind an item that had been opened on a previous play, which was not possible to move out of the way.
