Not sure what happened with these games once they stopped being about fantasy and such, but this is just awful garbage. I suppose Artifex Mundi only publishes and does not develop. Anyways, full of unskippable crap that just serves to pad out the play time. Feels like a mobile game where you could have DLC to be able to skip animations and nonsense. Has a broken Linux version so you need to force Proton.

[h1] Довольно увлекательный и умеренно сложный поиск предметов про искусственный интеллект с перемещением во времени [/h1] И история действительно увлекла. Поиск предметов здесь один из навороченных, а персонаж как будто списан с Киберпанка из-за механической руки. Вот только Киберпанк вышел в декабре, а эта игра в апреле. Так что игровой процесс стал приятным сюрпризом ещё и из-за довольно навороченных сцен поиска предметов - здесь они очень разнообразные и интерактивные. Вот только русский перевод не всегда радует, потому что некоторые вещи переведены откровенно неправильно. А с довольно сложным поиском предметов такое халатное отношение к переводу только путает. Аудиовизуал же вполне приятный и радует элементами киберпанка. Так что любителям подобных историй на вечер самое то. К тому же это очередная идеальная игра без особых затыков. Даже на поиск предметов даётся минута, а не 20 секунд.

It is extremely linear, with only 1-2 scenes available to you at any time and the minigames are pretty much all really easy. It is however overall better than the first one. It also has the same issue with the Linux version of the game as the first one too. If you into the setting menu and try to save something the game just straight up crashes and your settings don't get saved. Other than that it works fine.

[h1] Genre [/h1] Ein Hidden Object Adventure mit Sci-Fi Setting [h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen einen Erfinder und wollen gerade mit unserer Frau unseren Jahrestag feiern, als plötzlich ein Zeitreisender vorbei kommt und unsere Frau entführt. Also machen wir uns auf, sie zu retten. Aber es steckt mehr dahinter als gedacht [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Wie immer lösen wir allerhand Wimmelbildszenen & Minispiele/Rätsel. Ich fand die Wimmelbildszenen gut gelungen & die Rätsel waren zum Größten Teil auch in Ordnung. Mir hat das Setting nicht wirklich gefallen. Der Vorgänger hat nichts hiermit zu tun und dieses ganze Sci-Fi zeug, da bin ich bei HoGs gar kein Fan von. Es gibt einige Fehler in der Deutschen Textübersetzung & das Voice Acting ist genau wie im Vorgänger, selbst für das Genre recht schwach [h1] Achievement Schwierigkeit 3/10 [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 24 Erfolge. Hierfür muss man das Spiel beenden & darf dabei keine Minispiele/Rätsel Überspringen. Zudem muss man 2 Arten von Collectibles finden & dann gibts noch die üblichen HoG Achievements wie z.B. 1 Wimmelbild & 1 Minispiel/Rätsel unter 1 Minute lösen, 3 Wimmelbilder unter 10 Minuten schaffen, 3 Objekte in 3 Sekunden finden usw. Man kennt es ja mittlerweile [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Story ist an sich OK (Ich bin halt kein Fan von dem Sci-Fi Setting) + Grafik OK + Nette Wimmelbildszenen + Nette Minispiele/Rätsel + Achievements + Sammelkarten - Die Deutsche Text Übersetzung ist an einigen Stellen eher schwach - Das Voice Acting ist selbst für ein HoG relativ schwach [h1] Fazit [/h1] Es ist kein schlechtes Wimmelbild Adventure aber es hat mir bei weitem nicht so gut gefallen wie der Vorgänger oder andere HoGs. Ich bin im allgemeinen kein Großer Fan von Sci-Fi (mit nur sehr wenigen Ausnahmen). Die Wimmelbildszenen & Minispiele/Rätsel waren aber OK und wenn man Fan vom Genre ist, kann man hier ruhig zuschlagen. Sadly one of the weaker ones of ARtifex Mundi. I loved nearly every one and played a lot of them. And of course this series should also become part of my collection. The first had an interesting story that started strong but failed than. This had a story that had lots of wasted potential. But sadly everything of this series compared to others is that the HOP are also with morphing objects. Colelctables that are morphing ok you just have to look better. But dear god I HATE morphing objects in HOP. I often missclicked or had to wait for the silly object I just saw morphing to be the one I need again. Some puzzles are also not fun. The worst and least fun was the "evade the drones and find a save path". This and a few others are just "trial and error" like in some HOP. IT it sometiems sooo hard to see what you need. Standalone without other games of Artifex thsi and the others in the series could be really good, but being part of a publisher with many great ones just shows it is one of the weaker ones regarding story, HOP and puzzles

Interesting puzzles and good art. Story is ok too.

BORING

John Connor goes back in time from the future to destroy your Apple Watch and then steals your GF, but your Apple Watch's AI has severe autism and hacks a local radio station and launches a nuclear missile and destroys part of Russia because that's totally possible and there's no fail-safe to prevent a nuke from being launch in this universe. The puzzles are very well done and the hidden objects have complex mini puzzles inside them making them not a mindless affair.
