Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good old school RPG but sequel is better in every way. Combat is turn based. Side quests are either ok or good. Main story is good but stupid in some ways. For example overseer just tells you to destroy whole mutant race and the cult by your own after you just saved your vault by bringing water chip. Whole plot feeels kind of rushed or forced. But atmospehere is good. OST is good too. Overall solid amount of dialogue choices and roleplaying tho fallout 2 did everything better and fixed all the flaws.
If you consider yourself a massive fan of Fallout and find yourself getting tired of replaying the same linear, shallow worlds of Fallout 3 and 4, do yourself a favor and look past how "old" this game is and give it an honest shot. This game is incredible. It's short compared to the newer fallout games, but has much more depth and probably the best main story in the whole series. It takes a bit to really get used to keeping track of all your quests and information you need but it is well worth it. The only real complaint I have with this game is that in battles with a large # of enemies the combat can feel SUPER slow, even on the highest speed(and I guess I wish the game was longer/had more content, but its length is 100% fine as is). PS: if you like Fallout 3 and/or 4, don't be offended, I like them too, but more-so as eye candy and build-crafting simulators than as actual rpgs (though fallout 4 barely has that either)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is not worthy of the chud. This is purly goyslop, written to pollute the minds of the goyium. Better than goyslop like fallout newvegas and fallout 3 everybody knows fallout 4 and amongus are better if you think differently than you are a lesser chud

very solid rpg and a great introduction to a fantastic series. I would highly recommend playing it if you haven't, the story is great and the mechanics hold up despite the period the game came out in, which is not something you can say for a lot of games from this era.
california is a craphole isnt it
Turning your plasma rifle into a turbo plasma rifle is like pack a punching a weapon in CoD Zombies. Fallout (1997) is an absolute must-play. The minimal hand-holding and lack of quest markers may irritate a few people and leave them completely lost, but once everything clicks, you'll know what to do from that point on. Bethesda could make another Fallout game if they wanted to, but they could never fully replicate the idiosyncrasy classic Fallout had.
Definitely the classic heavyweight of the franchise! The best Fallout of all time—the one that started it all. Fallout 1 offers excellent world-building and a simple, fast-paced opening that really enhances the role-playing experience. Simply one of the best RPGs of all time. Thank you, Tim Cain and the entire Interplay Productions team, for this masterpiece! Greater Game!
Immaculate. Surprising how well this game holds up. Defintely recommend using a spoiler free guide on how to play the game since the initial hours can feel frustrating.
