So after hours to understand why I'm on the floor and cant get higher than everyones knees, I find out that I need to learn how to code to make all the specs to calibrate height and to stop everything from flickering (THAT THE DEVELOPERS SHOULD HAVE FIXED IN THE FIRST PLACE), so I can start playing just for the game to fail. 2 hours later I unistalled it too much work for a game that should have been fixed by developers TODD GO SIT ON UPP FACING BOTTLE CAPS, YOU MONEY HUNGRY ♥♥♥♥
spent forever setting it up because it didnt launch when i downloaded it i had to look for a solution and even after i did that i found out it is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ vr port only worth it if you want to spend hours modding it
I would only recommend this game if it cost 2 cents. Bethesda needs to be publicly shamed for offering up such a putrid attempt at VR and then asking 60 bucks. This game is not truly VR. It took MODers years to add in what is missing. So unless this game is on sale, which a few cents would be reasonable, avoid this LAZY POS cash grab. And even at that price, you will absolutely have to MOD it to even make it playable. I paid about 10 bucks, which is about 500x too much.
Tried running this game modded, crashed. Tried running it with only F4SEVR, VR Address Library, and FRIK, crashed. Tried running it vanilla, CRASHED. The game is an embarrassment.
This game is.... bad... really bad... like worse than usual Bethesda bad. I wanted to give this a chance, not on it's own mind you, I knew from day one that this game would need mods, that this was a dumpster fire from the out start, and that mods were a need not a want with this game. I have spent over 3 days trying to mod this... monstrosity of a game, and I have gotten it to work... kinda. The game continues to crash, not by any graphics over load or memory limit, no... for all the mods I have bogged the game down with, the one thing that kills it is somehow activating the Light. Before anyone asks, it was not due to any number of mods, it was due to the fact that game existed, as I had tried with all manner of mods and all manner of no mods... the Pip Boy Light would crash the game. Save yourself, dear reader, buy Skyrim VR, it's actually worth modding, but this horrendous pile of trash, needs to be remade with love, not whatever Bathesda thinks passes as love for games, cause this ain't it.
game sucks crashes a lot more even more then the regular fallout 4 and needs mods just to be ok
Literally shattered my dreams of playing a VR Fallout game, I am immensely disappointed and left bitter. The worst part is that I've spent way too much time to try and get this to work, so much time researching online and fighting my instinct to just give up. The game wouldn't even start, and that was even after so much time of researching and failing to find any way to get this to work. Whoever greenlit this to be sold as a finished product needs to look themselves in the mirror and ask themselves if the money was worth their soul, because this "game" is as soulless as they are. Do better. Edit: I'm back to trying to make this this work. Personal limbo yay! I think this is out of spite now.
Fallout 4 vr ? Nah it's Fell off 4 VR . You need mods to make it good, without the mods, very ahh.
Shocking. Sort it. We paid money to bethesda. Not the amazing modders.
Not as bad as people say. only thing is pip boy does not pause the game so you are at a moderate disadvantage.
