This game has all the ingredients for something incredibly interesting but ends up managing to be extremely dull. I know there are people that just don't get it. When/how someone can play a game for 10s of hours and still find it meh, because sometimes one of you shows up to make a comment, but yes... there are those of us that will slog through something and that doesn't make it good. You gain no interesting abilities nor equipment which is astounding given your connection to an Eldritch Horror. There are games grounded in realism that provide more interesting elements in both. Imagine finding resources "imbued" with eldritch just to you can make... better healing potions. Combat stays mostly the same the entire time as a result of the above and there's basic QoL that is non-existent like not being able to easily see my own exact stats or being unable to craft from the stash when I am at the base. If you can get this on a massive discount, it may be worth it just to play but no element of this game is good, it only teases at what could have been good. At best, parts are okay, but otherwise it is boring. I wouldn't have 100% the game if I wasn't so close and doing that was PAINFUL.
Title: Fade to Silence Fade to Silence is a harsh snowbound survival action game that truly makes you feel the cruelty of a frozen world. Managing stamina, temperature, and limited resources while exploring the white wasteland creates constant tension, and the overall atmosphere is heavy and immersive. The action combat itself is enjoyable, with weighty movements that fit the survival theme. However, the difficulty is quite high, and beginners may find it unforgiving. The backpack capacity is very limited, forcing frequent inventory management, which can become frustrating over time. Unfortunately, the multiplayer mode suffers from many bugs, which significantly affects the experience. In addition, the camera movement can easily cause motion sickness, especially during long play sessions. I have not cleared the game yet, but while it has strong survival and action elements, technical issues and strict design choices make it hard to recommend without hesitation. Evaluation: - Many bugs in multiplayer mode - Backpack capacity is too small - High difficulty - Action gameplay is fun - Easy to get motion sickness - Not yet completed

it has long since been abandoned pretty much
Game has an okay base building mechanic, and awful combat. Good premise as a dad game, but as others have exclaimed, poorly executed design choices.
Pretty fun and unique game. Kind of Soulslike, but also very reminiscent of NieR also. Fun crafting, combat feels good enough, exploration is great, recruiting followers and building a town is also a blast. I got it on sale for $7.49 and I feel like that's a great deal for what I got. I will say, if you're hesitant to make the purchase because of the bad reviews, just know that the easiest achievement in the game, basically "Take 1 step" only 50% of people got. This means half of everything you've seen comes from people who didn't even try playing, so wait for a good sale and make your own mind up.
The concept is amazing, and its what made me give it a try. With the exception of the visuals and world, it under delivers in every aspect.
