Fable Anniversary

I can't begin to express how magical an experience Fable 1 was. Even though a lot of people like or even prefer Fable 2, the first one was a very special and unique experience. You really got a heavily stylized world, along with equally stylized character designs, and you got to make over-the-top, grandiloquent decisions throughout the game. Fable 1 also went all the way in showing how your character changes with age and moral alignment. It really feels like a fairy tale. I can't really explain how different and iconic this game is; you just have to play it. About the HD remaster — I don't really have much of an opinion. The issue we sometimes get with heavy remasters is that they remove part of the original stylization to add more realism. Not only with the characters, but also with the lighting and saturation. I don't think they butchered the game with this remaster. There's less of the "uncanny valley" vibe that was there early on, though it gave the game part of its charm. If the HD remaster helps people get into the game decades after its initial release, then I guess it's a good thing.

Absolutely classic from back in the day granted this is the HD remake of the original "Fable" from 2004 that being said obviously even with it being an HD remake a game 12yrs old is still going to have some jank to it. BUT still a super fun nostalgia run IF its on discount I don't understand why regular price is 35$ thats crazy considering some newer games arnt even priced that high. Plus the game just isnt a very long game sitting at about 12hrs to beat you could def speed through it quicker and you could def take a little more time. All in all if its onsale and you want a little nostalgia still worth playing.

I never got to play this game as a kid like i did with the other two, But it come packed with that o.g RPG vibes like the other two, and has a great story. Its like unlocking memories i never had.
