best game

Extricate is a pretty simple game where the goal is to get from the start of each stage to the end in the fastest time possible. It's pretty fun. Until it isn't. Beating the game on its own is pretty simple and fun, getting all the golds can be kinda challenging but still very doable. The diamond (dev) medals, on the other hand, are EXTREMELY difficult, especially the later ones. The movement and gameplay is pretty alright, it feels good when you figure out how the strafing works, but some of the mechanics really suck. The fans might have the worst handling I've seen in a game, the jump pads can be somewhat hard to hit when you're moving pretty fast, and the kill obstacles just find their way into your path at the worst times. It's a fun game when it isn't really annoying, so I think its okay. Nothing to ride home about.

Pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good for less than a $1 on sale. It's a bunny hopping parkour sim which a bunch of levels. It's simple, it works, and it's cheap. Good filler game and beyond.

Movement mechanics are very basic, there's no acceleration/deceleration, you don't lose speed when strafing in tight circles. Not a fan of this kind of movement and for a game that's all about movement, I can't recommend it.

Bunny hopping. Scroll jump. Inverted Y axis. Good stuff.
