Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

My 12 min in this game. Start the game. crash. restart the game. Game uses arrrow keys instead of WASD controller doesn't work despite steam saying compatible with controller close game spend 10 min creating custom mapping for my controller works start game play first battle get told to open menu need to remap controller Stream game on discord....crash refunded.
Switching from windowed to fullscreen causes crashes when you start a new game and during cutscenes. Even worse, once you exit or crash while in fullscreen mode, the game refuses to launch at all. The only workaround to boot the game again is deleting your save files stored on your PC, which resets the settings but completely erases your progress. Until this is patched, you are forced to play in windowed mode or risk having to delete your save game progress to get the game to boot again. Not recommended in this state if playing in fullscreen is important to you.

So I tried it, and I can confirm that you can get the game working with both Xbox and Nintendo controllers. I don't have a PlayStation controller, so I couldn't test that one. If anyone has this problem, just use Steam's Big Picture Mode. It's like dark magic, it almost always works.
EXSTETRA is honestly a really beautiful game. It has that strong PSP‑era nostalgia, and the anime aesthetic gives it a lovely charm that’s hard not to ignore. The animated cutscenes are beautiful, expressive, stylish, and has personality. It feels like there is something special here. Something that makes you want to like it. But sadly… the charm isn’t enough to fix the problems. When you turn on fullscreen from the settings, the screen goes completely black and you have to restart the entire game before you can see anything again. And in the city, I did everything spent all my money, visited every event spot, tried every interaction and the game just froze in place. No matter what I tried, the story wouldn’t progress at all. No matter how pretty the game is, it’s hard to enjoy something you simply can’t play. Overall, EXSTETRA has heart, style, and a beautiful retro feel… but the technical issues completely break the experience. I truly wish it worked, because it could have been something amazing.
this is a BAFFALINGLY bad release, completely unacceptable, 1080p max resolution full or window, that is all the graphic settings listed. this becomes clear why when you see that this psp looking game runs at 10fps.....when its stable and not dropping the S completely. a 5090 should be able to handle this gamed? there is no controller support....no mouse support to? baffling. keyboard only, but it still has controller gliphs everywhere? wtf? have you ever bought a game and thought you are being pranked? like you are personally on the end of a huge elaborate prank. that's what this feels like. am i having a stroke? was this release in this state as some savage dare by a drunk publisher?
Save the World With a Kiss! A Classic JRPG Rebooted After Over a Decade
A fantasy RPG set in "Amazia," a world born from the fusion of Tokyo and another realm, where high schooler Ryouma becomes the chosen savior, a "Prisma," and awakens allies through a kiss to prevent the world's destruction. The premise of "saving the world with a kiss" sounds outlandish at first glance, but it is unified across every aspect of the game -- story, combat, and relationship building -- and the more you play, the more impressive the consistency of this concept becomes. This title carries a remarkable history. The original was released for PS Vita and 3DS in 2013, developed by Studio Cencen and published by FURYU. At the time, the North American distributor declined to produce an English version, leaving it a Japanese-only release -- a title that overseas JRPG fans long wanted to play but simply could not. After more than a decade, this Steam version marks the first-ever official English localization, with Simplified and Traditional Chinese text also added. It is truly a long-awaited global debut. The creative team is equally noteworthy: character designs by Tony (Shining series) and Yu Enoki, with music by Yoko Shimomura. The game earned a Silver Hall of Fame entry in Famitsu's Cross Review upon its original release, attesting to the caliber of its creators even back then. The standout feature is undoubtedly the game system built around "kissing." As the Prisma, protagonist Ryouma is the sole being capable of absorbing "EXS," the world's energy source, by defeating enemies. By transmitting that EXS to allies -- the "Prisma Knights" -- through a kiss, he awakens their power and enables devastating special attacks called "EXS Arts." Notably, kiss targets can be freely chosen regardless of gender (!), and interactions with male characters produce amusingly flustered reactions of hesitation and bewilderment, adding genuine color to the narrative. Kiss frequency is also tied to affection levels, and ending branches shift depending on whose bonds are deepened, making it a distinctive design where combat strategy and relationship building work as one. Combat uses a turn-based command system. Parties of up to four take front-row and back-row positions, selecting skills according to the situation. The "Enchant" system lets you freely combine skills attached to weapons, armor, and accessories, and the crafting loop of gathering materials to strengthen gear while pushing deeper into dungeons is quietly enjoyable. Districts of Tokyo overlaid with the other world each host distinctive labyrinths filled with gimmicks, treasure chests, and materials. An auto-battle function is also included, a welcome touch that lets you set your own exploration pace. A cooking system that affects combat performance is also present, further bolstering the RPG depth. Visually, the game retains its handheld-era hybrid 2D+3D presentation as-is. While texture resolution shows its age by modern standards, the decadent yet beautiful atmosphere of Shibuya and Akihabara merged with a fantasy realm is bolstered by artwork from tokyogenso (Tokyo Fantasy), forming a memorable world. Tony's character designs combine a distinctive delicacy with allure, and the Japanese full-voice acting adds depth to each character's presentation. Yoko Shimomura's soundtrack is also a satisfying listen. Because the game design is rooted in 2013, players accustomed to modern JRPGs may find the random encounter rate and equipment UI flow somewhat dated. That said, this old-school feel is itself part of the handheld-era RPG experience, and being able to relive that atmosphere wholesale is arguably one of the game's unique charms. Reborn in new languages after more than a decade, this classic JRPG offers a rare kind of adventure through its one-of-a-kind kiss mechanic. Whether you enjoy unearthing retro JRPGs, are drawn by the names Tony and Yoko Shimomura, or once encountered this title on a handheld back in 2013, it is a game worth picking up anew. HHF-chan's comment: "Powering up by kissing your teammates is waaay too creative! And their flustered faces are adorably naughty!"
Check out our Steam curator (link) , YouTube channel (link), and X(Twitter) (link)!

I'm playing with a XBox controller,no problem :) Tested with PS5 controller,It's working too... Otherwise,I'm super happy to play this game, next one "UnchainBlades ReXX" please...
Works great on the deck, I'm using proton ge11.3 didn't have any issues with the controller layout just changed it to "gamepad with joystick trackpad" The games menu's are really clunky but the systems beneath all that are quite nice, story isn't amazing but it's quite entertaining also amazing art by Tony Taka
