Exoprimal is an online, team-based action game that pits humanity's cutting-edge exosuit technology against history's most ferocious beasts – dinosaurs.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Extremely fun concept that was horribly mismanaged. 60 Euro baseprice is not worth it at all. This should be priced 30 at most on release. most of the characters are locked if you only buy the base game and unlocks are horrificly slow. After 10 hours ive unlocked 3 new characters out of a roster of 12+ unlockable ones. Most of these barely change gameplaywise but some later ones do quite drastically. The PvP is awful. Enemies teleport frequently. Its super laggy and theres nothing you can do about it. The big dinosaurs have terrible hitboxes. If a T-Rex swings his head then everything in a huge CUBE in front of it dies. Most matches also feature PvP as a Dinosaur so now you got teleporting t-rexes with broken hitboxes. The characters themselves are poorly balanced. Some of them are borderline mandatory in certain situations like the taunt + shield. The game encourages an overwatch like character swap system in the middle of the match where youre supposed to change to optimize the time to kill. Nobody ever charnges. Even if you got a good comp you actually need people to do the thing theyre supposed to do. Most of the time they dont. Without a dedicated group youre kinda just screwed. The game does a terrible job at giving the player feedback in general. The only metric you get at the end of a round is "score". This "score" is completely arbitrary and for example blocking with the shield gives obscene amounts. But it doesnt matter if youre actually blocking relevant damage. You can legit press block in front of a horde of weak mobs and go afk and get top scores despite being completely worthless. No ingame text chat function. But voice chat exists (not sure why youd ever turn that on, guess if you dont like your ears you can). Meh You do get to beat up huge waves of dinosaurs with mechs. So yea.. amazing concept but just bad everything else.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I really struggled to decide whether I wanted to give this game a try or not. The mixed reviews in combination with the low player count on the steam charts made it a hard choice. I decided to give it a shot and hope this small and ''early'' review will help you decide it for yourself. In general I recommend buying the game (especially right now on sale) and just giving it try for the first 2 hours. If you like it in those first 2 hours, chances are it's gonna stay this way. Find the game repetitive? You're probably best off refunding the game. The game is an online multiplayer game, where you fight off hordes of dinosaurs while competing against another team who's doing the same. The team who gets it's done faster wins. Among this game mode are different ''sub gamemodes'' hidden. Aside from fighting of waves you sometimes also have to move a payload, defend the point or you could get a chance to shoot at the enemy team. In addition you can get a ''dominator'' which allows you to transform into a random dinosaur and rough up the enemy team. You play in a team of 5, generally with other players but there is the option to play with bots too. While the steam count may be low, cross-play is enabled and there are plenty of players on consoles. Generally I haven't had a longer waiting time than 1 or 2 minutes max. You get to choose from 3 different roles (assault, tank, support). Assault and support each have 4 classes (the last one you need to unlock). Tank has 3 different classes. Each class has different abilities. The reason for grinding and playing the game is simple (aside from fun): you can unlock perks, upgrade perks with in game coins, unlock and buy new gear, unlock cosmetics, decals and medals (achievements). Furthermore the game has integrated a campaign in between the online matches. When you first start the game you get a few cutscenes and a tutorial. Later as you play the game by playing online matches you unlock new ''data'' which slowly unravels the story and mysteries. Every now and then you get a cutscene in between. Fun enough to keep the game fresh and have another reason for playing the game. Lastly, and I cannot stress this enough., the more matches you play, the more varied the game gets. At the start the game circles through a few of the same 4 or 5 dinosaurs. As you play more matches, level up and progress the story, you encounter new dino's, scenarios and boss fights are unlocked. This was a huge relief for me as I found the game fun in the first few matches but was afraid of it getting stale too quickly. Post note, also good to know there is the option to play custom matches with friends. Hope this helps.
no more updates farewell exofighters
A solid game otherwise that live serviced too close to the sun. I grabbed this for $10 expecting to dislike it knowing that it's essentially on borrowed time and man... I've had a blast. This really could've been a wonderful arcade multiplayer game but the need to make everything a forever game was the albatross around it's neck. Still leaving a recommend because I find it so fun, but be aware development has ceased.
Only 17 people are playing on steam lol
It's not that bad, like people say it is. For 50% off, it is a decent fun game.
exoprimal had so much potential, sadly it died shortly after its launch cause a lot of players gave up on it to quickly which resulted in capcom giving up on it as well and for them to also not continue updating the game which is a damn shame. i love exoprimal. its such a fun game and i put so many hours into it. i really wanted to see this game thrive. my problem with the game now in 2026 is that its pretty much unplayable due to having players be forced to connect to an online game lobby which takes FOREVER and you can't even connect to one most of the time. there is also NO offline single player mode for the story. the training level is the only part in the game that is offline single player only. capcom making exoprimal an online only game was the worst decision that they made for it which resulted in the downfall of killing the game almost entirely. the game pretty much does not have a player base anymore which is why you can barley connect to any game lobbies now a days. if capcom gave exoprimal an offline single player mode and would have kept working on the game and continued to keep putting out new levels for it i guarantee you a lot of people would still be playing exoprimal today. honestly at this rate capcom NEEDS to make this game free to play or implement an offline single player mode otherwise there is no point of having exoprimal still be available on PC and other platforms. you can not tell me capcom cant implement an offline single player mode for this game because they absolutely can. they just don't want to. i have seen games that where online only but then later devs made an offline single player mode months and even years after the game came out. for example you had games like friday the 13th which was an online only multiplayer game and some how the devs found a way to make an offline single player mode for it long after the game released so it would still be playable when the online servers shut down because people loved that game. so it is very much entirely possible to do and has been proven multiple times by other game companies. so again i ask....why cant capcom do the same with exoprimal?? if other developers can make an optional offline single player mode with online only games months and even years after they been released why cant capcom do the same with this game? they got no excuses. they are just being lazy about it.
for those who are tempted to buy this game. DONT! it has zero variety just 1 pvp mode and 1 pve mode. same map no choices. the only cut scene that is cool is in the beginning tutorial then its all just slideshows with voice overs and no actual campaign or in depth story at all. it has battle passes for minor cosmetics. better off playing 1st descendant and that game is junk too.......
I used to think Exoprimal was dumb until I got my hands on it. Turns out, it's a badass and fun game! The thrill of mindlessly shooting hordes of dinosaurs, and the low learning curve makes it easy to jump right in and start having a blast. I love that you can change your suit on the fly. Despite being a live service game, it's good to know that you can unlock everything through in-game currency, without feeling pressured to spend extra money. The game never stopped being fun, which is an important factor for any video game! I highly recommend picking it up, especially when it's on sale. Exoprimal is definitely worth it.
