Exodemon is a good fun! It's a fairly short (if you don't go for 100%) retro-like first person shooter where you play as a scientist overtaken by a parasitic/symiotic (?) alien lifeform, and you must escape the facility where the lifeform was experimented upon. The game features nice visuals, fun and simple gameplay and one banger of a soundtrack! There's plenty of secrets to uncover, and each yields something useful: a weapon upgrade or a health up. Speaking of weapons, the arsenal consists of 6 unique weapons, and figuring out which one is best for killing this one particular enemy is not too stressful. (Though admittedly I ended up using almost exclusively a fully upgraded red hand for the sheer amount of single-target burst damage) If you want to have a good time, most certainly get Exodemon! Also, shoutout to Casey Explosion for recommending it.

Game excelente, movimentação fluída e gameplay suave. Trás elementos da era Doom de volta mas sabendo conservar as referências certas de Half-Life. Muito bom! Valeu cada centavo!
I really like the application of a diagetic interface, keeping the stats on the back of your hands is a nice touch, as is changing the physical appearance of your right hand to match the weapon in an easily memorable fashion. I was hoping for a flamethrower or biledriver of some kind, but hey, I'll take what I can get. Namely, the grenade launcher. The claw attack is very solid, too. Like all boomer tooters, every level has a completion score - that's something I never really cared about but if you're a completionist then that'll be right up your alley.
It's a fun retro style game that sort of reminds me of Quake, long story short you play a scientist infested/bonded with some sort of symbiotic organism. Explore levels, find secrets or upgrades for your weaponry. If you want to chill and unwind with a decent single player experience I'd say this game is worth looking into. I love the art style aswell as it's basic controls and game play there really isn't much to complain with about this game.
A fun but really challenging game that mixes aspects of FPS and platforming!
It's way better than I originally thought! Exodemon is a little nice boomer shooter which has been cut short from its development, and that is what kept me from buying from all this time... and where it is true that is relatively short compared to most, it's gameplay is something refreshing (switching between melee and ranged, which is not new but here has been well made) and that truly mixes up cleverly with the game's design (even the simple feature of the HUD has been thought cleverly). It's a shame that the game dev (from what I understood) is no longer in business of making videogame, because this one is a real gem!
I've been following Exodemon ever since I played a demo of it during it's prototype stage four years ago. I'm very impressed with how far it's creator, Kuupu, has taken it.
story: i don't know didn't read difficulty: easy gameplay: pretty good map design:perfect
