This game is dreadful. Game kept bugging out and going dark, repetitive play and next to useless AI
This game is a really fun, light-hearted take on the absolute mess that is Brexit. As long as you don't go into it expecting some action thriller this game is really good fun. My only slight gripe is i wish the Singleplayer was longer, but honestly this is a very small con to me. Overall you should definitely buy this game, matter of fact i'm getting my friends to buy this for some Multiplayer madness.
Overall Rating: 8/10 Date: 7.7.19 This is a very nice game with a little humor and good story scenarios you get put in. First of all there are 2 campaigns at this point. The 1. one (UK/Europe Border Campaign) and the 2. one (Mexico/USA Border Campaign) which was just recently released. The first campaign contains 10 scenarios (days) which you get put in and you have to master. Each day gives you an extra challenge to look out for. The 2nd campaign which was just released a few days ago is the better one i think. It contains only 5 days but with a little more story and you actually have to spend some more time completing the scenarios and you don't just get one extra thing to look out for every day like in the UK campaign. It also has new Quadbikes and a pick-up truck. You can also transport contraband with the truck. The developers have their own discord server where they are very active and respond to community questions. The game right now is bug free but has some minor things like the doors on a van being differently colored than the chassis itself but those things are already reported and being looked at by the developers. The game also has a multiplayer support for up to 8 people with a versus or coop mode. I can't say much about the multiplayer because i haven't played it for that long (maybe 1h). But it's definitely a lot of fun with friends at the checkpoint! I recommend this game.
JUNK OF A GAME. Nothing interesting. Short script made overnight to make some quick game about brexit. Highly not recommended
tutorial doesn't work there is no curser on screen during tutorial. I cant even hit the accept or denial button. Fix it please developers (they may not even read this).
Border Force is very much like Papers Please except its 3D. The gameplay is all the same except as you progress there are more things you have to keep track of like eventually random boxes can contain bombs, things to make the game more challenging or really just more annoying. My biggest problem with this game is each level is pretty much the same and it becomes very redundant very quickly especially when you find out you failed a level at the very end and have to redo all of it. Otherwise I mean I guess if you like Papers Please a lot this game might be for you.
Ha! A game with a bit of political commentary mixed in with a Papers, Please vibe. I got it as part of the Yogscast Jingle Jam bundle, and it's certainly worth the entertainment as part of the bundle.
should have used the money on a boat game instead 2/10 ahahaha, american border wall joke
For a game that came in the Jingle Jam I was expecting it to be a farce on the border mess.... It sadly takes itself seriously. With a boardlands style art you simply sit and reject people entering the US or Mexico base on a passport thrown out of a heavily tented window. The only advantage is you can take all the champagne from every car that comes in... but you can't drink it. Just throw it in the trash. I installed it, played through 3 campaign levels in about 15 minutes and managed to get 6 achievements. Game is just lazy and boring.
I just find this a really nice game. It's a simplified "papers please" and a bit more graphical perhaps but far less complicated but not easy. Give it a go, worse that can happen is you ask for a refund right?
