Evil West

Classic example of a dumb fun game. Playing it on Normal difficulty and bosses are still fair but sorta tough, Usually get em down within 2 or 3 tries. Normal waves aren't that hard, but its a fun turn your brain off kind of game. Interesting upgrades and perks. Nothing out of the ordinary, but definitely enjoyable and fun. Classic 7/10.

Great game and decent story. Gameplay is fun, it's a beat em' up more than a shooter. Be prepared though, it isn't very polished but it does have great performance. I recommend downloading a mod to disable TAA DOF and chromatic aberration early on.

I liked it quite a bit and I wish there were more weird 'AA' type games like this. Overall combat is pretty enjoyable, it feels like you have a good kit to work with and the general feeling is something more like the Norse God of War games than a third person shooter like you might think. I do think the difficulty balance gets a little weird in the back half, they give you a bunch of very powerful tools on cooldown and start throwing together encounters that just feel a bit un-fun to fight if you aren't using your overpowered 'win buttons' on rotation (like the supercharge 'devil trigger' style ability is basically an excuse to skip enemies you don't like). But overall it was a fun ride with some rough edges, cool B-movie flavor with the 'electric cowboy fights vampires' setting.
