One of my favorite games once upon a time but checking it now for nostalgic reasons I can't get back into it. Paradox did too good of a job with EU4. I remember the launch being disappointing, I even thought I might split my time forever with EU3 & 4. Thankfully the post launch support even before they started cashing out was amazing. People don't appreciate it much now that everything we've gotten is taken for granted. I hope they do the same with EU5, the dlc policy will be trash but as long as the game is good I'll be glad.
Sadly the last good Europa Universalis game... The ones that came after III, are bona fide trash.

Updades broke the game.
ran pretty well. only slight issue is that unlike ck2 or darkest hour. for some reason it kept running despite me having quit the game. also the fact that it refuses to open despite steam and discord saying it is running. would recommend
