Ethan Meteor Hunter begins as a deceptively easy puzzle-plaformer but the flaws become apparent as it drags on and on. It fails at both aspects of its gameplay: as a puzzle game, there are not enough puzzles (what it's there is decent except those that require twich reaction solutions and get unintuitive after a while), as a platformer, it is repetitive and unfair tier-hard. I rarely quit games, but this one I just dropped about halfway through the third area, seeking out endeavors that respect my time and don't overstay their welcome.
11 Years Ago in the Greenlight Era it wasnt a bad game, but 2025 its sadly not a good game either. Some Kind of What if Mobile Games, wouldnt had exist but been released for PC.
Lot's of fun, highly recommend. I was almost done winning the game by the time I realized there was an option in the settings to adjust sensitivity. I found lining up the puzzle elements a bit tedious and sometimes used my mouse pointer to help line things up. So, my advice would be to adjust the sensitivity to your liking in the beginning. It's a very polished game overall, no bugs or glitches, works great with my Xbox One controller.
THIS GAME IS AMAZING! I can't stop appreciating the effort that was put into it. It is sad how little attention the game has received. I love that the game has a clear structure, that game elements are so interactive with each other, which gives a lot of possibilities for puzzles. I love 3 distinct Worlds with unique features and styles. I love gimmicky levels like Pogo and The Vessel. The game design is so genius; the level progression, how the puzzles are made, and even speedruning is taken care of by making player-controlled cycles. The game is also very replayable. The songs are masterpieces.

Not gonna be a lapdog of a puzzle game where some puzzle are based on timing and reflexes.
