Eschalon: Book II

Very cool game! It's the first game I bought in Steam and not regretting it one bit.

I loved Eschalon: Book II, the interesting open world, the sprawling wilderness, the remnants of civilization, the dungeons and more. The only thing that I feel was a solid miss was the conclusion. It went from a fantasy adventure to science fiction delve into the twilight zone. I won't reveal any more, but for me it really broke the immersion of the fantasy experience and it's really a shame. It doesn't take away from all of the other amazing things that make this game a magical experience, so i still recommend it.
