Same boring asset flipped game as All Alone: VR. Dont buy fr.

Warning: Asset Flip!
Escape: VR is an asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The Russian "developer", Bitlock/cBlck/Lillywelland/Onblind (how many Steam accounts does this guy need to use to mislead gamers??) paid for/pirated someone else's Western themed asset pack, dumped it on the basic Virtual Reality Toolkit Unity Engine, changed the name, and submitted it to Valve as if it was their own game. Bitlock Studio/JapanCo have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Pet Puzzle" = Simple match-three animals puzzle developed by CATLOGIC
"Froggo" = Road Crossing Game Template developed by Puppeteer
"SnL" = Snakes And Ladders Multiplayer developed by Moe Baker
"Pixelfence" = Pixel Tower Defense Prototype developed by Kirill Nadezhdin
"TacTikk" = Make An Assassins Board Game in Unity developed by Wilmer Lin
"Monkey Slap" = Ekume Engine 2D - Complete Platformer Template developed by Ekume
"School of Horror" = School Scene developed by Tirgames Assets (as LillyWelland Inc.)
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a comparison that this game would fail very badly at. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes the game great is the VR, then the game isn't great at all. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk.
Warning: License Violation/Intellectual Property Infringement
The game contains stock/store assets/libraries/packages, but the "developer" here hasn't credited the people who actually did the work for the game. In some cases like the Virtual Reality Toolkit, this breaches the MIT license agreement the developer signed for the use of those assets, as the VRTK MIT License agreement requires the developer includes VRTK in the game credits, but the Russians here chose to violate that license for the software and are in breach. Claiming credit for the work of others as well as breaching software licenses is highly unethical. Gamers should be made aware when a developer behaves unethically and breaches license/copyright agreements, as buying games from unethical developers puts the gamers money at risk. Escape: VR is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.
I'm very confused to be honest. I have NO IDEA where I am supposed to go or what I am supposed to do. I walked around the whole town, heard a couple of scary noises and couldn't get into any of the buildings. Did I miss something or was the escape leaving the game?
