I recently purchased Eagle Flight from Ubisoft. I got that on sale for $19.99. Believe it or not, I had more fun with the actual gameplay in this title, than in Eagle Flight. The main problem with this title, is the lack of content. You basically have one relatively small VR environment to fly in. There's three different ways to play in this environment. One is a basic race where you race through the hoops in the air as fast as possible. In the other mode, you try to find feathers. I found this mode to be quite difficult as you have a timer counting down and the feathers can be difficult to locate, especially with the gaze to navigate gameplay (you can't look around freely because you fly in the direction you're looking at!). The last mode is a explore mode which seemed very much like the race mode earlier, except the rings were farther apart. And you spent more time trying to find them. I did all three game modes in about 10 minutes. There really isn't any reason to do them again. The gameplay is fun, but there really isn't much replay value. I liked the environment. I liked the sense of flight and speed (you aren't held back unlike in Eagle Flight, where you're treated like you have kiddie gloves). I had zero crashes. All navigation is done by gaze. You automatically go back to menu after each mode. I think I had .49 cents worth of VR fun. I definitely recommend it at that price. Buy this instead of Eagle Flight, you'll be happier (even though Eagle Flight has more content, none of the races are as fun as this short gameplay and the graphics are worse in Eagle Flight). (Vive) Общее впечатление очень приятное. И, когда начну перечислять недостатки, сама удивлюсь, почему. Самый главный - птица управляется только головой, так что ей не повертишь, поле зрения непривычно сужено. Такое ощущение, что делалась не для шлема с контроллерами, а каких-то более простых устройств. Много раз игра вылетала. Локация небольшая, птице там тесновато. Хотя она в синих тонах, с музыкой, поэтичная. Птица красивая, движение плавное и стремительное. Без лишних меню и обучения. Восторг от полета есть, можно заходить просто полетать пару-тройку раз или развлечь гостей. Неочевидное достоинство - не надо махать руками вообще, более продвинутые и неважно реализованные игры этим уже утомили. В общем, это красивая, интуитивно понятная игра полностью за свои деньги.

Naja geht so. Für meine Tochter war es ok. Die Steuerung ist ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber so ist es vermutlich am ehesten ohne Motion Sickness auszuhalten. Wirkt insgesamt noch etwas unfertig. Es gibt Ingame kein Menü und kein Exit. Man spawnt mit dem Adler direkt in der Luft und das ist dann beim Aufsetzen des Headset ganz schön anstrengend, da man direkt einen Kreiselsturzflug in die Magengrube macht und man erstmal durch Kopfbewegungen den Vogel abfangen muss. Grafik ist ok, geht aber besser. Stimmung ist gut. Bei einem Spielmodus spawnt das erste Tor hinter mir und zwingt mich zum Wenden. Blöd! Ich spiele mit der Vive und einem Minimalspielbereich von 2m x 1,5m.

Das Ganze ist ein einfacher Vogelflugsimulator. Die Grafik ist ansprechend, die Musik sehr angenehm und der sonstige Sound passend zu den Flügelschlägen. Es gibt drei Spielmodi, bzw. 3 unterschiedliche Level. Zum einen Erkundung (Flug durch Ringe), Suche (Federn sammeln) und Rennen (durch Ringe) gegen KI-Gegner. Der Vogel steuert sich sehr einfach mit dem Kopf. Dadurch ist das Spiel ist ein netter Einstieg in die VR-Flugwelten. Leider ist man sehr schnell durch, was aber bei dem kleinen Preis auch nicht tragisch ist. 1,99 Euro ist ein angemessener Preis, schließlich kann man ja die Modi/Level mehrmals spielen ;)
