Endless Suburbia

(Français, lire plus bas) EN 🔷Endless Suburbia is a mini-game where you drive through a neighborhood where a terrifying event occurs (one of six events/endings; to see them all, you have to play again). A game takes about 10 minutes to complete. 🔴The neighborhood is empty: no cars except yours (not even parked ones), and no people outside, which doesn't make sense given some of the endings. 🔴The car isn't realistic: the steering wheel doesn't turn, and the speed isn't displayed, which breaks the immersion. Furthermore, the car's sound is awful; it sounds like the sound of starting in first gear on a loop.... And you can't accelerate, which is illogical. 🟩The different endings are original. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- FR 🔷Endless Suburbia est un mini-jeu qui vous propose de conduire dans un quartier où survient un évènement effrayant (un évènement parmi six, pour tous les voir il faut recommencer le jeu) Environ 10 minutes pour faire une partie. 🔴Le quartier est vide : pas de voitures hormis la votre (même pas de voitures garées), ni de personnes dehors, ce qui n'est pas cohérent avec certains évènements. 🔴La voiture n'est pas réaliste dans le sens où le volant ne tourne pas, la vitesse n'est pas indiquée ce qui casse l'immersion. D'ailleurs le son du véhicule est atroce, on dirait que c'est le son du démarrage en première vitesse mis en boucle. De plus on ne peut pas accélérer, ce qui n'a aucun sens. 🟩Les différents évènements sont originaux.

To anyone who leaves a bad review, the game literally says what you'll be doing... 6 atmospheric experiences. For a one man dev team I thought it was great. Keep up the good work

Im not sure why this game gets so much hate, for what you pay you get a good enough experience and the concept is very cool. People act like they can't refund games they dont like lmao, keep your negativity to yourself on a game thats fairly well made.

It's not as bad as peopel say, but also don't get hyped up. It is more like a movie that is scripted and you just experience different scenarios, which I really liked. I can't say anything bad if you understand that this is not really a "game". I had a good time.

Völlig zu unrecht die teilweise negativen Bewertungen. Das Spiel ist eher wie Backrooms, nur in einer kleinen Vorstadt und man fährt mit einem Auto. Es gibt 6 verschiedene Grusel-Level und alle haben eine fantastische Atmosphäre, Musik und teilweise Jumpscares. Mein Chat und ich hatten definitiv Spaß beim Spiel, deshalb klare Empfehlung für alle, die auf Backrooms-artige Spiele stehen! PS: Wenn du dir unsicher bist, schlag einfach im SALE zu, das lohnt sich zu 100%!

Endless Suburbia is truly one of a kind. The game presents six distinct events, each with its own unsettling tone and pacing. Some of these scenarios mirrored nightmares I had as a child - and some still linger in my mind today. I especially appreciated the pace at which the game confronts you with each event. However, the experience is somewhat held back by mediocre optimization, as performance issues detract from the immersion. My favorite moment is the final event: the rapture. As a Christian, I found this deeply resonant. I’m grateful the developers chose to include such a powerful and spiritually significant scene. I hope it encourages players to reflect on the importance of that moment - whether they share my beliefs or not.

Short but weirdly addictive game. It would be neat if there were a way to win. But I do get it's just supposed to be a liminal spaces simulator......
