The best part of this game was being able to name the farmer and dog after male genitals terms.
Interessantes Farmspiel, inklusive Wimmelbilder, Rätsel, Quests! :) Wunsch: Deutsche Ausgabe
I expected to play this for 10 minutes, uninstall it and give it a bad review. Well, turns out I finished it..?! While the overworld country song is terrible (reminding me of a simplistic version of the Hammerhead overworld track in FF15), and the hidden object scenes are so random that they're really laughable, the game itself managed to retain my interest. A few things: - Quests are useless. You just need to accept them and then you'll randomly get a bit more money, without any effort. Okay. - Hidden object goals are useless. They bring a little extra money, so at the very start of the game it's nice to have, but 1/3 through it you'll just be ignoring them, as the rewards don't increase with time. - This is actually pretty much an idle game, that pauses when you switch to another window. Gotta hate those... Just run Cheat Engine, enable Speedhack, set it to 2x (for a realistic pace), 5x (for a nice pace) or 10x (for a frantic pace in you're short on cash), and there you go. Do a hidden object scene from time to time, to unlock new crop types and thus more money. If you keep the speedhack mode in HOSes, you'll have the benefit of not getting misclick penalties, and get free auto-hints every other second, but you'll lose interest quickly, so I actually tended to disable Speedhack for my HOS playing. - The dialogue is relatively funny. Ah, ah. And in proper English. Next. - The game is 'over' (but you can keep playing it) as soon as you buy all of the farm upgrades (I believe only the building upgrades are necessary, i.e. not stuff in the Animal or Farming sections, but I didn't test that.) - Really, don't play without a speed upgrade. Otherwise the game will get boring real soon. I'd recommend playing on x2 speed for most of the game. It'll be way more enjoyable!

This is a charming game. Simple and easy to understand, but all the trimmings that go with a classic, peaceful farming game. The added mechanics of Hidden Objects will either entice you or irritate you. Or, in my case, send me back to the eye doctor after straining to find those precious 3 gems every time. The first time playing, all the dialogues are cute and entertaining. After that, skipping is a benefit. Sadly, you cannot skip the trader Manny's comments when closing out a hidden object game. Sigh. That would make replays perfect. Still, if you're looking for one of those classic farming games that all you do is grow crops and livestock, this is your game. You can even skip the hidden objects, but you'll have to wait a while(or invest immediately in the crop upgrades). Fun for more than one-time playing.
Give this game a go. Best thing about this game is you can play it offline if your Internet connection isn't the best. I enjoy both farming and hidden object based games, so any wonder that I enjoy playing this one too. I can easily lose myself in endless fun filled quests as there is always something to do which keeps me coming back to discover the newer quests which you find as you begin to unravel the objects required to accomplish them. Love how you can update the landscape and scenery and buildings to how you like. The whole experience gives you a country feel to the overall game play. I even enjoy doing the puzzles especially the one with the numbers. Very addictive could easily play for hours on end.
A mix of a hidden object game and a game where you fix your farm up and grow crops. It is ok but it gets repetitive pretty quickly (you play the same 10 or so hidden object scenes over and over). Works fine on Linux with Proton (Proton 4.11-9).
There are 2 ways to view this product: Either it's a decent game with a few problems that stop it from being a great game OR it's an excellent satire of a capitalist society. I prefer the latter. PROS: I enjoyed the extra mini-games available and the ability to skip them without detriment. The humour is cute but not raucous. Most Hidden-Object scenes are quite fair with only some items hidden behind things. I learnt a couple of new words too. There's some interesting bonus features in the HO scenes but it was annoying when the auto-hint one showed up. I liked the story enough and how everything linked together. MAJOR CONS My biggest problems is the game doesn't "train" you properly on things. I maxed out my storage and reduced my prices but near the end, had WAY too much stock in the market, so I ended up ignoring the crops. Secondly, there's no indication WHEN upgrades need to be implemented until it's too late. Sure, you get warnings but I want something specific so I can "budget" for them. Also, you have to buy blueprints THEN the upgrades and I ended up having to write down what the prices were so I knew when I could afford them. There should be a visual indicator - at least - on the map. MINOR CONS: Some clicks in HO scenes don't register You have to be specific in your clicks sometimes and you get penalised for it The hidden gems are TINY and hidden on borders sometimes but you get used to it. The main gameplay involves grinding HO scenes, which item's positions don't change. The dogs on map sprite is disturbingly bad. The storage mini-game was part block-puzzle and part rush-hour. It would been fine being able to freely move pieces over each other... Also, as a mid-point, items are always in the same position. This is usually bad but when you have to grind levels, it ends up being a bonus. I'm glad that the achievements aren't linked to Steam. I'm not bothering with completing them. As for the capitalism satire, over-production lead to food waste. Despite the amount of production, it wasn't bringing fast enough profits. The bank admits to being extremely duplicitous, even resorting to sabotage. Despite having enough money to afford a treehouse, the farmer refuses to buy a working front gate. When the store increases it's customer base, the farm doesn't hire extra employees to handle the workload. Enjoy the game as a casual exercise. It's worth full price but I wouldn't blame you for waiting or a sale.
I wanted to play a farming game and I found a Hidden Object farming game! That works! The story is adorable and sweet and you just want to keep winning and upgrading things to help out the elderly couple. There are lots of cats and animals in the pictures of Hidden Object games. The music/SFX match everything correctly and there is just so much to do! Farming is available too! Oh and there are mini games! If you are as good as I am at them (being able to do 2 out of all of them), then just make sure you have enough gold and you can skip it. Or actually keep trying... you might master 'em! So alright, this is not a farming game you might think of... it's actually a cool, nifty game which provided me with lots of hours of fun! The ending is satisfying and all people get what they deserve. You can also continue to play over and over again -> to gain all of the trophies and loads of money! There are no game breaking bugs, there are no crazy problems and it really is just interesting for anyone who likes these type of games! :D (The smiling piggy mailbox design FTW). Oh right, you can decorate your farm too! And there is lots of good, enjoyable humor! :) Thank you for the fun, interesting, Hidden Object, sweet gamey game!!! :) =) :>
Crappy game that doesn't even know what it is. Part simple farming sim, part repetitive puzzle game, and part HOG, all wrapped in a boring story that drags on for way too long. If you like HOGs and don't mind the same scenes over and over than you may be OK with it, but I'd recommend sticking to Artifex Mundi games. Verdict: 2/10
