About
Welcome to the night shift.
You're the only one left behind the counter at Greasez’s, a rundown 24-hour burger joint. The fryers are hot, the orders keep coming in… but something isn’t right. You're not alone. And closing time may never come.
Late Hours is a first-person horror experience that blends psychological tension with immersive storytelling. Play as Dylan or Rachel, an employee stuck working a late-night shift while their personal life falls apart — and something far worse begins to unfold in the shadows of the restaurant.
A grounded horror narrative centered on a crumbling relationship, a dead-end job, and a masked killer with a history tied to this place.
First-person, story-driven gameplay with no jump-scare spam — just raw atmosphere, dread, and consequence.

Realistic shift simulation — take orders, prep burgers, and clean up… while slowly realizing the nightmare you're in.

Dynamic phone system — receive texts from your partner throughout the night. Your choices in how you respond could save or end the relationship.
Multiple endings based on your actions.
Do your job. Don’t look behind you.
Greasez’s is open all night.

Game is bad. Straight up. It's a buggy mess: controls barely work, the phone texting is incredibly broken and unpolished, and at some point i just stopped being able to interact with boxes making the progression impossible even on a reload. It isn't a horror game and isn't scary: the devs say "no cheap jumpscares" and it is "all atmosphere" and yet there is literally no tension or stakes. The scariest thing in the game is the state of the dump you work in, and the miracle that it somehow is still open. Lastly, the game is FULL - AND I MEAN FULL - of AI. Say what you want about AI gen, good or bad. But the dev EXPLICITLY SAYS IN THE AI DISCLOSURE that this game "uses generative AI in a limited way to create rough bases for some 2D art and music". Their words not mine. This entire game is filled with unfiltered AI, unedited in any way, including mispelled and brain-rot-esque posters, employee portraits, and the most annoying music you have ever heard. Overall, the game is slop and charging $9 cad (full-price) for this is actually insane in the indie horror genre.
Do NOT waste your time or money with this. I can't even call it a game. Instructions are unclear, game is buggy and uneventful. I got it for free, and wish I didn't have to waste my time even installing the game.
I'm ashamed to say it took me awhile to realize how to get the parts for the trap, even though I had FUN putting the orders together and keeping everything in stock. It say's I played for 6 hours but I really didn't. I had the game up whenever I was taking breaks, but I was absolutely going hard on orders XD. BUT After figuring it out, everything went smoothly. I normally don't review but I have to say, this was one of the best game's I've played in awhile. Found it from CASEOH, and definitely got more than money's worth. BE PROUD OF YOURSELVES! I'm SOOOO EXCITED to see what more you guy's come up with :)
At first, you feel very alone in the drive-thru, and the game can be a bit confusing. Later, once you know what you’re doing, trying to complete orders in time keeps you really busy. It’s a mix of time management, horror, and fast-food simulation. Running the drive-thru is okay, and endless mode offers a more relaxed play style. The developer is active and fixes bugs regularly, so if the price is high and you’re unsure if it’s worth the money, wishlist it and wait for a discount with more features.
I absolutely enjoyed the game. If you love restaurant simulator + horror genre - this is a game for you
Not a bad game. Ended kinda quick though. I died quickly and my game was just over after 40 minutes. there should be a way to get a do over if that happens without having to start completely over. also the locking mechanics for the door should be quicker. Still, good game. I enjoyed the story behind all of it. just wish i could have seen more.
This game is awesome, and I hope it gets even more developed.
This Game kinda hurt my head i've been playing for 3 hours and haven't gotten anywhere and the dev isn't helping me and instead and telling me to play more and figure it out.
Late Hours delivers a strong eerie atmosphere and a solid horror premise with no noticeable bugs. However, it lacks clear direction—making orders and knowing what to do when the killer appears can be confusing. The phone texts are also hard to read and feel awkward. Still, if you enjoy horror simulator games, it’s worth checking out and has real potential to improve.
The game keeps crashing and I'm unable to play.
