Very good collection of 6 HO games. I didn't play any of these games before so I was not familiar with these series. And as I can see from the reviews, people mostly prefer 1000 Doors and dislike Snark Busters. But I kinda liked Snark Busters. Yeah, the story in all 3 games is simple, I'd even say naive, but it has it's magic. These games also have beautiful and rather original visual style. Probably only All Revved Up is little weaker and lacks voiceacting. As to the House of 1000 Doors... I'm not saying that they are bad, but I really liked only the first one - Family Secrets. Very grim and atmospheric game with really interesting story and good puzzles and mini games. The other two games have cool visuals and good atmosphere but the story is very lacking to say the least. Time travelling with mindless hopping from one setting to another - I've seen such vinaigrette in dozens of other similar games. And these 2 games are too easy. But in the end - time well spent and overall impression is very good. If you are into hidden object game, it would be a good addition to your collection. Also, each House of 1000 Doors game has a bonus chapter. There are trading cards, achievements and for it's price, this collection offers more than enough.

This review is for Snark Busters: All Revved up. I've been through the House of 1000 Doors just fine. Went through Snark Busters Welcome to the Club just fine. I got to one spot in All Revved up and absolutely cannot pass it. Not because it's a difficult puzzle, it won't let me DO the puzzle. If you've played it you know. The T-Rex life size skeleton, you have to position him a certain way. It won't let me. I've used the "HINT" button a million times, it points in the same spot and won't let me do a thing. I've ran through, checked every inch of every other room I can and nothing. I've restarted the game and it's disappointing because these stupid point and click/hidden object games are my life.

Ну на самом деле закрыты были всего 3 игры из 6, связанные именно с серией "Охотники за Снарком", в остальные три ачив походу не завезли (но я их всё равно закрою, не пропадать же добру) "Охотники за Снарком: Добро пожаловать в клуб" поведает нам историю непоседы и авантюристки Киры Ричардсон, которая постоянно влипает в какие-то передряги. Получив тайное письмо, она отправляется в зазеркалье на поиски таинственного существа Снарка. "Охотники за Снарком: На всех парах" расскажет о молодом гонщике Джеке Блэре, внуке знаменитого гонщика, который так же отправился в зазеркалье, чтобы найти своего пропавшего деда и заодно таинственного Снарка "Охотники за Снарком: Высшее общество" по сравнению с первыми двумя отличается более интуитивным интерфейсом и закадками попроще, в ней меньше пиксельхантинга и всё в принципе доступно. В этой части серии мы играем за за фотографа Элизабет, которая пытается найти улики и вызволить своего молодого человека из тюрьмы, которого, по ее мнению, подставила графиня Дэффингтон. Старая, но очень классная игра! Помню, как играл в Снарка еще ребенком... Минусов я почти не могу выделить, разве что это окно-квадрат - не очень это удобноЮ ну а в остальном: 1. Интересный сюжет 2. Классные головоломки 3. Механика, которой еще раньше не было 4. Ну и конечно, особый шарм при игре) Насчет трех игр 1000 дверей я подумаю, а вот в Снарка советую сыграть всем!
There are 6 games (for really cheap). Three are the House of 1000 Doors games, which are pretty good. But the Snark ones are nothing but grind. Unless you like just clicking on pixels forever, buy something else.
House of Snark has the most annoying, entitled main characters I have ever played in a hidden object game, and that's saying something. The gameplay itself is fine, and some of the visuals are fun, but the character design is HIDEOUS and clashes with the rest of the environment. This was my introduction to House of 1000 Doors, so the story was incredibly muddled and unsatisfying, but the puzzles were very good (except a couple), the main character largely kept her mouth shut, and the visuals were very fun and usually cohesive.
A great game bundle that combines two great HIO game series. Both are really great and in the same genre. Snark busters is more of a chapter based game. You can only navigate in the chapter that you are in. The style and the story are great and its really fun to play again and again. An the house of 1000 doors series is great for everyone that likes the more mysterious and supernatural genre. The style is a mix between modern and old and the chapters are not closed in themself, means that the objects are connected with the main map and the chapter map. All in one a great game bundle. I would look aout if i where you that you dot double a game that you already have, or at least consider at which price to buy the bundel. I can really highly recommend this bundle
The first three games would not go full screen. For the first one, I tried lowering my resolution to a really low one, and it still would not do it. (The last three games I already have as individual games and had just played them, so I didn't try.) I guess this game is now too old. Too bad. I think I enjoyed them when I first bought them.
