Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The Sushi Bar | 寿司バー is a Japanese-style horror game where you play as a sushi chef working the night shift. The playtime is an hour to hour and a half. There are two endings.
Immersive Sushi-Making Gameplay: Embrace the role of a sushi chef as you prepare a variety of dishes like sashimi, sushi rolls, and other Japanese dishes. Follow simple steps to chop and roll.
Theme: Unique VHS-style aesthetic. The game’s visuals feature grainy textures, color distortion, and subtle static effects that evoke the nostalgia of old-school horror films. Combined with dim lighting and flickering neon, the VHS style enhances the unsettling ambiance. (VHS can be turned off in settings)
Authentic Japanese City Vibe: Step into the heart of a bustling yet eerie Japanese cityscape, where neon signs glow softly against shadowy alleyways, and the distant hum of traffic fades into the night. The game’s setting captures the essence of a quiet Osaka neighborhood, complete with narrow streets, paper lanterns and rain.
Chilling Atmosphere: Experience the haunting ambiance of a quiet sushi bar illuminated by flickering neon lights, with sounds of the city fading into a sinister silence.
Story-Driven Horror: Piece together the bar’s dark secrets through cryptic notes and unsettling encounters.

Genre
Ein kurzes First Person Indie Horror Adventure
Story
Gameplay
Fazit

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow third group
nice story
This was actually a really good game! it's not your ordinary horror game and it's very refreshing to play because of that! graphics's are beautiful and the gameplay is nice! I will leave a YouTube link to my gameplay if anyone would like to watch :) https://youtu.be/9m_vJ7KK1Tk?si=2mtZA39ktDBc1wpO
2/10 While I enjoy the graphics of the game, I enjoyed little else. The soft music while working was pleasant, but the sound of the looping rain was annoying. When you pick something up to read, it remains on screen blocking your entire view until you select the exact spot you picked it up from, which you can't see. Doesn't tell you how to trash an order when you make a mistake, I figured out you can throw ingredients away in the trash behind you but good luck picking up each ingredient individually to throw away. The pointer is very hard to see when not looking at a dark background, and the hit box for picking up and dropping items is very small. Every time I made a order I had to click multiple times to select the tiny ingredients. When placing items you must click on the mat instead of the roll or sashimi you are making. Even with the little tutorial on how to make sushi it did take a lot of trial and error, my start to the game was very frustrating. I also purchased this game looking for a short indie horror game, but this one put me to sleep. I do not like simulator games, so if you do you may like this one. I found it extremely repetitive. Get up, leave apartment, walk around the corner, enter work, make orders, leave, go to bed and repeat. I wanted to like it, however I only made it to the fourth day. The build up for the stalker was horrible, no sense of danger. I couldn't even see what was going on during the first encounter, and there is no way to turn up the gamma. It's too dark outside. It's also a bland looking game, his apartment doesn't looked lived it. There is nothing extra to interact with. We learn nothing about the character we are playing. The weather is the exact same every day. Very boring.
ngl scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me never had chills ever run up my whole body like this game did 100/10
Very realistic. Wake up, go to work. Wake up, go to work. Wake up, go to work. Always the same type of day. It can't rain all the time... - Eric Draven
This is such a shame. The idea is solid, which is not a huge surprise, because this whole "haunted late night job" type of game is really becoming its own genre on Steam these days. And I am all for that. There is a lot of potential for satisfying gameplay, earned scares, and interesting settings in this emerging subgenre. Unfortunately, this game lacks satisfying gameplay, earned scares, and an interesting setting. The gameplay is buggy; you never know if you will need to click on something once, twice, or three times for it to actually react. It lacks literally any kind of quality of life features. Simple things would have gone a lone way. How about a way to pull up the recipes with the Tab key or something, instead of making the player return to the counter? How about any kind of on-screen indicator of each order and what you still need to make, without you having to go back and talk to the customer? And the gravest sin of all: no way to save your progress. This is not a long game. You can finish it in an hour or so. And yet, perhaps due to the monotony and unpleasantness of the moment-to-moment gameplay, it feels much longer than that. And in the very final moment of the game there is a ridiculous jump scare where a monster chases you, but there is no indication of what is happening at all. All I heard was the screeching jump scare sound and then I was dead and the game returned to the main menu. There is a "good" ending where you run away from the monster and head around the corner to where, ridiculously, a cop is waiting for you. I only learned that from checking out a YouTube video of the full game. You can play this for an hour, die to an incredibly cheap and lazy unannounced enemy, and then have no way to return to that part of the game without suffering through another hour of the awful gameplay. That is just inexcusable. I have a pretty high tolerance for tedium and repetition in games but this is just wildly indifferent about wasting the player's time and in no way can I recommend it, even at $1.49 on sale.
